This is a great game but it's important to know that version 1.0 will not work properly if your iPhone Region Format is not set to US (General>International).
Just a quick note from the developer of WordJong - we have a fix for the Region Format bug and will be submitting a new version to the App Store later this week.
Thanks for all of your interest in the game. We hope you enjoy playing it!
I really enjoy WordJong. The pace and the challenge of the game work for me -- it's the perfect application for my iPhone. Plus the price is right. and you don't have to go and do a bunch of junk for other characters to progress in the game. and i like that!

That sucks... I guess that then answers the question I was going to ask, which was, does anyone know if we have the option of using a British-English dictionary?
I guess not...
i got mines!
awesome
Unfortunately not the full game from the DS but also not the full price of the DS game so it's still completely worth it.

Gameblend should have the answer because the issue I've reported affects the calendar feature of the game (you still can play the current day of any month).

Well, I would contact them to ask them this question, but the Contact page on their website says:
Don't call us, we'll call you. Just kidding... Coming Soon!
Not at all helpful... :-(
I love this game!
What a a fun family game. My daughter tries to take my phone all the time to play it. It wa the hit of a class field trip the other day--we were on the way home from the State Capital and everyone was a bit bored. WordJong Daily Challenge on the IPhone came to the resue!
Hi Brett - WordJong only has one dictionary, and it is a US-English dictionary. We hope you still consider trying the game!
Also, thanks for pointing out that our contact page needed some work :-) We have updated it with a contact email.
Just wanted to let you know that WordJong version 1.1 is now up on the App Store. The new version fixes the Region Format issue along with a few other minor bugs.

This is a known bug:

Also worth noting that this looks like essentially the same exact game as the DS version, with one important difference:
DS version cost: $20
(http://www.amazon.com/Word-...
iPhone version cost: $5
