Simply add an office or group of friends(it supports up to 5 groups) and add up to 32 players per group. Add people in batches or one at a time and then just shake your iPhone/iPod and wait in anticipation to see who you draw out of the hat.

Another handy feature of Sweepstakes is the fixtures menu which displays all the match days in one place so you can see when your team is playing and hopefully winning...
