Gameplay in Minecart Commute! consists of using a minecart to catch bombs dropped by the "Mad Creeper" with three live's. Rounds are scored for every group of TNT caught, and one life is lost every time a TNT is missed. As the game progresses, the "Mad Creeper" traverses the top of the screen much more erratically, dropping TNT at increasingly higher speeds, making each round more difficult.
