You are a subordinate of the great lord Habbalotta Heid. Supreme ruler of the Lardassians. Who loves nothing more than to feast on the tasty little snotter like Sputlings from the neighbouring planet Splutulike. Your mission, like it or not, is to fire the delightfully adorable little Sputlings across space to the waiting mouth of his royal fatbuttedness.

Naturally the Sputlings arent going to take this kind of behaviour lying down… Splodged in a mess? A grotty puddle? Well whatever a little gobby splurge does when its resting.
So the elite defence force has been sent out to stop the little baby Sputlings from meeting their unfortunate demise. Or at least, they are going to try.
