The largest epidemic in history is raging through West Africa. The world is donating resources where it can, but the people in West Africa need your help to raise awareness of this deadly virus.

The epidemic has affected multiple countries and has now spread to the US.

The CDC is working with Government agencies around the world to contain
its spread. The World Health Organization has activated an Emergency
Operations Center to co-ordinate all allies.

Developer's Notes

The Ebola Virus has claimed over 5000 lives and there have been over 14,000 reported cases of Ebola since March. This title allows us to do our part in promoting Ebola awareness about this awful disease. Our goal is to help eliminate this disease by striking a chord and allowing a metaphorical way to stamp out Ebola in its tracks. This game is not meant to make light of the disease, but the opposite. It is meant to memorialize the importance of keeping issues like these in the forefront and not being afraid to push the envelope when it can serve some social good.

Game Synopsis

As an Ebola Nurse, players will find themselves immersed in an extreme battle of the ages against deadly viral strains of Ebola. As an Ebola Nurse, you must also eradicate an ensuing infection of bacteria in the blood stream. The game tests your reflexes and swiftness as you must quickly destroy the strains. The body has an incredible resource on its side – white blood cells – these are working to fight the virus in the patient’s immune system so avoid eradicating these at all costs.

Ebola Nurse has stunning graphics including actual magnified photos of Ebola strains and bacteria, animated menus, realistic sound effects, and a terrific musical score.

Details

First, you’ll prepare yourself for battle by suiting up in a breathing aparatus to
protect yourself from contamination.

Then you’ll immerse yourself right in the Hot Zone of Liberia and begin a
battle to stop the spread of the virus by eliminating deadly viral strains of
Ebola.

You must also eradicate the the infection of the bacteria in the blood stream.
You’ll be tested for your quick thinking and swift ability to stay calm and act.

You must quickly destroy the strains and avoid white blood cells in order to
prevent further infection and death in an area of the world that is so
desperately affected.

You’ll see the devastating but stunning graphics which include magnfiied high
definition photos of the Ebola strains and activity.

There are animated menus, realistic sound effects and a terrifying soundtrack.

This is the fight of your life.

Game Features

You’ll be called to the Nurses’ Station so brace yourself to tap away spinning
viral bacteria from the blood stream.

Ebola Nurse is Absolutely FREE and there are no In-App purchases - so you’ll
purely be helping to raise awareness and learn about the disease.

The “Learn" button will take you to an education page where you can get the
most updated information from The Centers For Disease Control (CDC) on
where and how the epidemic has progressed.

The "Prevention" button in the Pause screen will teach you how to protect
yourself and your loved ones from the Ebola Virus, should the epidemic
spread to your country of origin.
