New aerial threats approaching... The AEG G.VI tactical medium bomber... Bombs and twin machine guns can destroy your defenses and make a real mess of your troops... Fortunately, you can upgrade your Bristol B2 to the AEG G.IV... As these mud-golems are about to find out...

After the Elder Things, comes their sometime enemy, another Elder Race, the enigmatic Great Race of Yith... Meet the Yithain Warrior Caste... Left behind to guard the remnants of their ancient cities and custodians of an eons old enemy; a dire threat that remains incarcerated in the bowels of the earth... For now...
So, what does happen went you introduce Star Spawn to heavy artillery? B000m!!!!... Unfortunately, it's STILL coming....
They have overrun the towns and countryside... Everywhere... This isn't looking good for our squad.... (Please excuse the debug numbers )
Enemy FT17 Gas tanks! We did remember to equip gasmasks? Right?... Letting them get this close, is not recommended...
Talking of things tank related.... Here's a WIP of a new aspect of gameplay, that takes players from the trenches and puts them into a tank or other AFV in classic 'on-rails' gameplay. Played in 1st and 3rd person, protect the tank and blast your way through the town ruins. You can call in artillery and other perks, if enemy positions are too well defended. The tank can speed up and slow down - speed up is useful for evading grenades, or slow down to fire more shots into a target before your tanks gets in range of the enemies weapons. The FT17 weapons can be upgraded - the Hotchkiss MG not cutting it? Upgrade to the 37mm cannon. Barricades, will prove no problem... It's up to the player how to approach the level. Bigger tanks, with more armour and fire power will become available in later campaigns.
Apologies for the slowness of getting to Beta 2.... Plague of Bugs... Heres a a couple of updates for the on-rails section....
What are the controls like ? Normally you move left/right with a onscreen controller on the left but the fire buttons appear to be on the left ?
Hi psj3809, fire-button is on the right. (Perks and Special Ammo is on the left.) as ZWAR1 is a fixed position shooter + on-rails sections, you drag / swipe the screen to aim the machine gun. We will eventually have a 'handedness' options, so you can configure the position of fire button, perks and orders to your preference. I hope that helps answer your question.
