Looking good . I haven’t got a chance to play much here lately, but since I completed the campaign all I can do is replay it, still fun nonetheless. Can’t wait till the next update
Meet the 'Black Reverend', Sir Aldrich Eldwych.....The ‘Big Bad’; using advanced science and arcane knowledge, his aim is to bring back the Elder Races and bring about the doom of mankind... 'I have unearthed ancient portals between worlds, in the forgotten ruins and abandoned places. Here, where the veil between worlds is thin, I will open the way to the eldritch forces that scratch and gnaw at the edge of void. I call out to them... And they answer...’
I’m slightly depressed, I played some of the new build that just came out and for no reason all, ALL! Of my soldiers vanished, and they had good/expensive guns and armor too. I hope you can fix this before it happens to more beta testers.
Hey Cooper04 - thanks for the update. yeah sorry for that. a build got out that wasn't too great. It's a known issue that's been fixed a few times and returned to haunt the game. They joy of game dev... there should be a more stable build coming soon.
While the new build is coming together, meet the latest horror to haunt the battlefields... The loathsome Shoggoth...
No problems! Guess I’ll get to replay the game now! Can’t wait till the new monster comes to the game
Back from PGC... Interesting times ahead... In the meantime - meet the Chaplain - uses relics and tomes to defend against monstrous entities.
Meet the strange and bizarre Servitor Musician.... Their unearthly, discordant music drives men insane (Unless you're like me, and an MBV fan ) as they crazily whirl around the battlefield... Worse still, they act as heralds, and they can also summon their monstrous masters into being. This tends to ruin everyone's day on the human side...
And last, but certainly not least.... MG Optics. The Warner-Swasey scope. Very useful on long range maps. You can now see enemy behaviors in all their glory. and headshot them.
Meet the utterly alien, Elder Thing (or one of the Elder Race, if you prefer...) (In)famous from Lovecraft's Mountains of Madness... Creators of the Shoggoths, which over the eons, rebelled. As one of the sentient races, they have advanced weaponry and other useful tech, if you dare to enter their subterranean, Antarctic cities.
