When I go backwards the character doesn’t switch to face the left and I just found thr game frustrating. Perhaps it would be nice if it flipped to face travel direction when you haven’t fired for 1 second or something along those lines. I quite like it overall. As mentioned the environmental kills are nice, headshots count. Look forward to seeing where it goes. It badly needs the control layout setting that it says is on the way. It’s quite methodical instead of being fast-paced, like most games in this genre generally are. Yes, the facing in opposite direction feels quite off-putting. But I do agree about the way you are facing, I know I can change it easily by aiming but it just doesn’t feel right that I have to do that manually when most games they face the way they are moving automatically. Seems pretty good to me on my first little try of the game. I’ll definitely come back for some more.
