Yeah the title is a little vague, and unless you know something that the rest of us don't, the update hasn't actually been submitted to Apple as yet.

Anyone reading that other (main) thread about Zombieville would've read the author's post about the update anyway, I don't think the creation of another thread about it was really warranted.

this is a sad story. you can compare this game with Heavy Mach. released at the same time Heavy Mach is in the top ten sales, Zombieville has sad sales.
The marketing is bad. It´s so simple- drop the price to 0.99 a few days, a good game like zombieville will hit the top ten. Then rise your price, the game is famous now.You will earn a lot of money and the people are happy.
it´s better to earn 0.99 with 100000 downloads than 2.99 with 5000 downloads.
Drop the price with the update and you are rich!

Yeah drop the price with the update. It's now or never. This is your time to make a hundred grand.

Its true...I know that i'd buy it if it dropped to 99c, as I'm sure tens of thousands of people would.

That's not completely accurate. Heavy Mach rose after a lite version in addition to the price drop. The lite version is amongst the top free apps, so I'd say the lite version had more to do with it than the price drop.

You can release as many lite versions as you want, but you're not going to hit top 10 easily if its not 99 cents. Anything higher than that your game needs to be very very good.
