If the game offered in app purchase for infinite energy I would play it.

If the game forces energy then I just play 1 of the other 1000's of games that let me play as long as I want.

I delete it, leave a 1 star review, and move on with my life.

I still play Zombie Basketball quite often actually. Hope to see the dev add permanent upgrades like ZB has.

All of the defensive upgrades have permanent value. I'm not far enough along to say for sure, but I suspect that some of the gun and explosive upgrades may have permanent value. Pretty sure the freeze bomb will always be useful for bosses, for example. They also have a permanent gold doubler, which would make the game viable to play through more quickly than I am doing. Without the gold doubler, it is rather time consuming to earn gold outside of your first five daily levels (which can be doubled by watching an ad). Since spending on consumables is mandatory to some degree in later levels, you earn very little net gold per level without the doubler, especially if replaying a previously done level.

Great timing, just finished Chapter 4 today.

I do hope you improve the quests. They are useless as they stand.

Any plans for an endless mode?

Ok, I have ideas for you, each built around a current flaw in the game:

1: Flaw - quest system is not rewarding or interesting. I mean, complete 15 wicked levels gives 2000 gold. Why bother? That much gold can be obtained in roughly 5 minutes of farming the level of your choice. If I happen to get the quest done at some point through normal play fine, but not worth paying attention too. 5,000 gold for freezing 300 zombies is more meaningful gold, but that is a ton of freeze bombs at 400 a pop, and once you pay for those, can't you again net the same gold more easily by just farming? So only worth doing if it comes up during normal play. So here is my suggestion: a weapon (or explosive or defense) unlockable only via doing quests to obtain parts would make the quest system more interesting. Maybe it starts off kind of powerful, but to make it better you need to do more quests.

2: Flaws - Lot of different weapons, but it really isn't clear what they are for, or if there is a specific role for them. Second flaw, new weapons are very ineffective at lower upgrades compared to fully upgraded uzi/ak 47. You can't really find out without spending a lot of real $ or huge amounts of grinding, since they are so expensive to upgrade. I mean, I've fired Neutron Beam about 8x now, and I'm still not sure exactly what it does. Is it a path weapon like Crossbow? The Medieval Episode is kind of hard, maxed Uzi and Ak-47 aren't really cutting it anymore, I'm thinking maybe Flamethrower and either Guitar or Tennis Gun, but its not real clear which are big upgrades from the prior weapons. I've got Flamethrower at 5/7 and its getting interesting, but its not clear to me that it will be a big upgrade over the prior weapons, and its so expensive to upgrade. Possible Solutions: (a) unlockable Sandbox Mode, where you can play any level you have unlocked with any weapon you have unlocked at max; (b) more info about what the weapons actually do, such as damage per shot, max ammo, etc.; (c) enemies with particular vulnerabilities, to give a reason to use various weapons even if not fully upgraded; (d) newer weapons should start more powerful and have smaller upgrades so that you don't have to spend a crazy amount of gold before even thinking about using your weapon. I think (b) and (d) are the easiest changes, and would help a lot.

Beyond that, I'd prefer an endless mode to multiplayer, but both would be good. A good endless mode would add a ton of additional playability value.

All I know is that I'm getting frustrated by the increased difficulty of Episode 5, without having better weapons. And I don't know what to farm towards. Flamethrower has sucked up a tremendous amount of gold already at 5/7, and I still don't know that it will be a good replacement for uzi or ak-47. So it really sucks out the motivation to farm or play at all.

Thats good to hear...some levels are really hard with the bug.

Another way to fix the quest system would be to have quests to a certain level with a certain weapon. That would give a reason to use more weapons. Or to do a certain level without any explosives (or with only 1 or 2). Rewards should still be better, but that would be a more interesting quest.

So why did you decide to do an update after so long, only to do it so very poorly? The special event was a complete let down and joke. My reward was less than I can get by grinding a single level. The rules/directions were basically non-existent, and you even spelled prizes wrong "prises". I don't get why you bothered to add something so half baked. I kept the game on my phone because you promised what looked like a survival mode months ago, and now this disaster.
