No, it was made with my own engine, Power Render 7. I used to develop and sell 3D engines for PC's for many years. However I have shut that business down and ported the engine to the iPhone for my own use. I have literally spent years of my life working on computer graphics... especially shadow algorithms in the last few years. Stencil shadows, shadow maps, parallel split shadow maps, omnidirectional variance shadow mapping, etc. It is nice to be able to apply a fraction of that on the iPhone Hopefully you'll have fun playing it when it comes out. I fully expect the game to be rejected by Apple because they discover it gets too hot and melts the GPU (JUST KIDDING!!!!!)
Still in review. I am working on a new level called 'The Pit', which is a large underground pit, with uneven terrain, rubble and some fires.
Hey mate. Great effort on the game and getting it together so quickly! Looks like good, zombie shootin' fun. And who doesn't love some of that?
I would get this if it had multiplayer(game center),that way I could play zombie missions with friends.
Good news! The game has been approved, which means it will be appearing on the App Store in the next 24 hours.
Wow, come back to this thread and realise it has been submitted. Remember back when you just had the environments. Either you are an extremely dedicated and quick developer or time has just flown by and I need to do something to slow it down. Congratulations.
I decided to have something done before Halloween, so that deadline put a lot of pressure on myself to get it done. I hope everyone enjoys the game and write a good review...
No. I would have to remove all the shadows, bump mapping, reduce the number of zombies... I want people to play it as I intended.
