Pretty solid reviews, will buy when I get home. Bought and loving it! Plays a little like Lemmings (still early play through) and Zombie Infection, not sure if you remember that game. Amazing details, sound, and controls perfectly. iPhone X supported and cloud saves. Text is a little small on iPhone XS Max, but probably cause I’m old, lol. Just get it you’ll love it. Sorry got to get back infecting people! It’s fun as heck though, if you fell like a challenge you can go for it, but you can choose the minimum to move on metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #6 metalcasket, May 21, 2019 This is utterly brilliant. Everything about it. The animations in particular are mind-blowing and show just how much personality pixel art can have. Just one caveat right now...there’s a bug that won’t let the game start unless you’re on a WiFi connection (on XS iOS 12.3, at least). I feel like I would be doing everybody wrong by not mentioning it, but don’t hold off on purchasing this lest you want to miss the launch sale. Again: Brilliant. Anotherkellydown likes this. So much detail in every aspect of the game. I love how the NPCs “talk” using gibberish. The people screaming in fear is delicious. I’m slowly easing my way into it and getting a handle on the mechanics. Definitely a must play IMO. Tested on my iPhone 7+, 12.2 without WiFi and it seems to work just fine. I’m sure everyone will appreciate the heads up, mc. Could be a number of things I suppose. iOS 12.3, device model, etc. Hopefully more people with different setups will play and help nail that down for the devs. metalcasket likes this. orangecan Well-Known Member Aug 9, 2011 2,000 150 63 #10 orangecan, May 21, 2019 Absolutely brilliant so glad it’s getting attention I loved zombie infection and this has a very similar vibe. The name of the game displayed on the home screen bothers me when it doesn’t fit. Maybe I’m alone. I’d think ‘ZombieNightT...’ could be changed to ‘ZNT’ or something else that would fit. No biggie, just a quibble. TheSilveryWolf Well-Known Member Dec 1, 2015 143 14 18 #14 TheSilveryWolf, May 21, 2019 Sooo... what? Is this a level-based or difficulty-based game? Is it endless with a high score? I understand the gameplay vaguely but not how it's designed. All I'm getting here is that there are different scenarios. Are there different modes? From the video, it seems like there are different scenarios and the goal is to turn everyone into a zombie quickly so you can beat your times. And there's a definitive number of people to turn. So maybe it plays like Haunt the House: Terrortown. Also heads up: the game is not $5.99, it's $3.99 as a 30% off launch price. That kind of shocked me when I actually went to the appstore so I'm letting people know. Dang, why do these kinds of creative-idea games come in waves? It's quiet for a month and then suddenly multiple games with really fun-looking concepts pop up all over!! Quoad Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2015 1,108 217 63 #15 Quoad, May 21, 2019 To level 5 or 6, it’s like lemmings. Lemmings with zombie death and bonus goals. And some interactive elements. TheSilveryWolf Well-Known Member Dec 1, 2015 143 14 18 #16 TheSilveryWolf, May 22, 2019 Could you explain for people who haven't played lemmings? skoptic Well-Known Member Apr 3, 2015 634 82 28 #17 skoptic, May 22, 2019 In lemmings you shepherd a group of lemmings round a map trying to get them all to ‘jump off a cliff’. It’s kinda puzzly and you have to use lemming skills to get through the puzzle with minimal deaths, so they can all...... jump off a cliff There’s gameplay footage on YouTube (of this game, although there is probably lots of lemmings gameplay too!) TheSilveryWolf likes this. Quoad Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2015 1,108 217 63 #18 Quoad, May 22, 2019 Erm, you don’t direct characters. They’re effectively on auto run. What you can do is instruct interactions (open this, break that) and allocate roles (eg, “become a blocker," blocking zombies' path in one direction, or “blow up," thereby blowing up a wall). You can also inject a limited number of people and turn them into seed zombies. In some levels. Edit: so gameplay is about achieving goals through managing interactions. In levels. With goals. It’s more enjoyable than it sounds! TheSilveryWolf likes this.
