Thanks man, I'm going to try to put them on the first post now. Ahh... nevermind. I'll wait until the screens are mass-released. I don't want to take them from Slidetoplay when people could just click the link and see them.
http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/iPhone/Zombie+Infection+%28iPhone%29/news.asp?c=19005 I just want to confirm that it is a move stop and aim shooter. It still looks like its gonna be better than RE4
Anderson and Shawna... yup, that sounds NOTHING like Chris and Sheva. As long as the game is fun though, I could care less.
As for the game, yeah looks like a re4/5 clone to me, the dude looks quite awkward in that shot though, like some sort of action man with plastic hair.
Ah yes, my bad, let me revise that. I couldn't care less. There we go. And I think that screen actually looked fine. The one that looked awkward was the way the Shawna was holding that assault rifle in the second screen.
Is there no third playable character? The mobile version had one that didn't use guns but could use katanas and could decapitate zombies while running
That's sick... But from the sounds of things, no... Then again, this is probably going to be an updated version of Zombie Infection 2 for mobile phones. Hopefully it'll be an unlockable or something... that sounds INSANE.
Yeah... the d-pad was pretty crappy. That said, these controls are more like Gameloft games. When you have your weapon drawn, it's swipe to look, so the controls will most likely feel natural. And you can swipe to look around while your weapon is holstered.
If they were gonna still RE's idea why not steal CoD: Zombies controls while they're at it too don't you think?
Because then it wouldn't be a Resident Evil game. With COD's controls it'd be like any other TPS that Gameloft has made, but this is going to be (somewhat) original. They actually sound like they'd work fine.
theres no point in making COD zombies, because u could just get the REAL THING which is already on the app store.
Am I the only one that absolutely hated thr COD:Zombies controls? Gameloft has the best controls you can get right now in my opinion. Sooo...no word on multiplayer huh? Would take this game to another level if it does. Here's to hoping this is the first of many zombie games from Gameloft.
I have a feeling that there's going to be some multiplayer. If it's not in the form of co-op or deathmatch, it'll be in the survival mode that they're including, which will probably be something like The Mercenaries from every Resident Evil after the first one. Gameloft always includes multiplayer, even if it's only local at the moment, I'll find someone with an iDevice (too bad my friend's was stolen...) And COD:Zombies' controls were only crappy unless you used the dual stick control method. Then they were fine.
I just loved Avatar. I wish Gameloft took it's engine, not Terminator's. Let's wait for hands-on video to watch how the cotrols work.
