Hah I dont know what exactly that did it but I changed to fast killing Guns and stopped scrapping/hiting zombies with the car. Just killing every one that jumped the car asap as you said and that really spawned more of them. Thanks! Last car and no missions left hence I can stop playing and only do the daily.
Yes! I played it on my iPhone 4. I know its laggy, but I'm used to playing graphic-rich games on my old iPhone. I even finished XCOM one day with an iPhone 4. LOL, you are the first one that noticed.....
I'm sorry...but this is total bullcrap. "Obnoxiously designed"? No, it is challenging and difficult, but not obnoxious. You cannot "easily cheese the challenge" with rewinds. You only get a small amount of time to do it, so infinite rewinds won't help if you don't have the skill to get it down in time. The skull system isn't even pay to win. Rewinds are far from necessary and only make it a little easier in most cases. Furthermore, said rewinds don't exactly require you to fork out cash; play the game through and you should easily have upwards of 100 rewinds available. Heck, you even get one free rewind each round.
Yeah, it was a really tough challenge, have to admit that. Took me about 20 - 30 tries. But it was also great practice for the 30 sec in 1 round quest. Once I nailed the 20 sec in 1 minute, the 30 sec in 1 round was a breeze. How do you guys kill 5 zombies in 1 sec? The only thing that comes to mind is a well timed bio-gun, popping 4 zombies at the same time as you hit one with your car.
I used the EX17 Bolt Gun (fully upgraded) on four zombies right before hitting another on the road. I'm sure you could use the auto shotgun or something like that too.
Will try that, thanks I got mine fully upgraded too, currently working my way through 25 wallstreet zombies. Easy way to make those coins back. Got that done by accident - was killing off 3 zombies with the bolt gun while having nitro on and running over 2 zombies on the road. Only in Expert mode...
Finished the game. Great game overall. Some tips: The EX17 Bolt Gun is the best gun in the game. Especially once it is maxed out. I save it until the later stages when you start getting the Elemental Zombies since it will one shot kill them and you’ll otherwise blow through all your ammo trying to kill those. Flamethrower will do burn damage so you only need a short blast to kill zombies if you want to conserve ammo. Save your nitro for the later stages since when you are nitro'ing, zombies will die when they try to jump on you, and that's worth a lot with the tougher zombies. Zombies will not turn over your car (unless you turn while they are pulling) until you see the exclamation point over them. That means they are strong / angry? enough to tip you over. So kill one or be ready to turn in that direction or my favorite: run into a wall which will stun them, and make it impossible to tip over in that direction. If you're really going for a distance run, try to only use your ammo on stunned zombies since it basically makes your ammo last 2x as long. During the dirt areas, you can kinda weave around and usually run over the majority of the zombies, so you can save your nitro and ammo for the cities Some ideas: Be able to earn cash during the daily challenge runs. It’s annoying especially during the longer ones like "kill 200 red zombies" to not earn any money. Have an IAP to double your cash and/or unlimited rewinds. The only thing IAP would have helped me with was to max out the higher level guns. The pricing didn’t seem to make sense to me, e.g. the last upgrade to the Bolt Gun costs 150 gold. That’d cost $10. So one upgrade to one gun is $10? It just didn’t make sense. I have nothing against IAP, and I’m happy to support developers, I just think the pricing is off. I would have loved to see a $5 double cash IAP or a $5 unlimited rewinds. The double cash should allow you to purchase the gun upgrades with cash instead of gold too. Something like that anyway, I don’t claim to understand the app store economy at all.
My thoughts exactly. I have no idea how much money I passed up in killing the daily zombies - after a while, it is pretty much irrelevant, as the higher guns require coins to upgrade anyway. My tips: Use the bio weapon to begin with. Works great on red and everything below. When you start running low on ammo, you will be hitting the armored zombies anyway, and you'll switch to the bolt gun. PS: I am 21 skulls away from completing the game too.
Maybe it's just me, but I'm finding all the daily challenges exceedingly tough. However, I will say that this isn't stopping me from enjoying the game a lot! The only thing I'd like to see (as someone mentioned a little earlier) is at least some kind of reward for trying, or perhaps getting a little way through the challenge, even if it's not completed. Heck, I'd never survive the zombie apocalypse with a whiney attitude like that, I know...
Good game, but a few changes could make it even better @ZH2 developers, Excellent job guys! ZH2 is a very nice change from ZH1, while still maintaining the gameplay and charm of ZH1. The daily challenge, expert mode and rested bank are great additions to the game as well. Got a few recommendations: Allow the daily challenge numbers to contribute towards the overall objectives. Allow us to earn cash and gold coins during the daily challenge. Quite a few people have demanded this already. Most of the daily challenges are wicked difficult. Since the aim of the daily challenges is to invite users to play daily, please make sure the experience is difficult but enjoyable, not hair-wrenching. Why isn't the harpoon gun self-reloading as it was in ZH1? It ruined one of my favorite weapons. Any chance of bringing the golden gun back? It was the most worthy sidearm P.S. Both love and hate the Elemental zombies. Crazy difficult to kill before I unlocked the EX17 Bolt Gun.
Anyone know some strategies to beat today's challenge? The only one I can think of is saving all 6 nitro bursts for when the Reds come out, because otherwise there's literally no way to kill them and complete it...
^ yeah like once I had about 15 skulls I was in the top 10% I do like a challenge though, provided it's possible
Quite a few bugs OK....got quite a few bugs to report. 1) Game crashes frequently. And not only does the game crash, the entire OS crashes (iPad Air, iOS 8.0.2). This is particularly most observed when switching weapons. 2) Sometimes the zombies get a running start and jump onto the car no matter what I do. I mean, I have a distinct opportunity to run them over but still they "seem to be running at their spot" and make the jump long before my car reaches them. 3) Sometimes the debris and zombies are too close together, especially when the car is super slow due to bumps or weight. I understand that the spacing of the zombies and debris is inversely proportional to the speed of the car, but there has got to be a limit. It renders the game unplayable, i.e. no matter what I do, I am going to crash. 4) Sometimes the zombies start tugging as soon as they jump on the car. That's super bad when they happen to be the huge red armored uggos or the rock elementals. Even with the EX17 Bolt Gun, the zombies overturn the car when before the charge goes off. Again, an unplayable scenario. 5) Wall Street zombies are unicorns, I have gone 2 days without killing a single one. Makes the "Kill 25 Wall Street zombies" achievement virtually unachievable. I do understand that I might have missed running them over or haven't spotted them in the tunnel, but for 2 whole days!!!????? Please make sure we get one every 10 miles or so. Overall, I must say one thing. There's a certain sense of frustration to the game. I understand this is still v1.0.2, but overall the game is very enjoyable mixed with moments where I want to throw my iPad. Things becoming impossible difficult @ 10 miles is okay, but @ 3-5 miles mark u dont get a sense of accomplishment. For the record, I am driving Zombified General with all the guns unlocked and fully upgraded. So its not like I am whining here, but genuinely pointing out problems as an accomplished player.
