I wouldn't mind trying your game an entering an honest review into iTunes, but I refuse to give anything a five star review w/o trying it first. Giving away your game to people in exchange for a guaranteed 5 star review is completely bogus and defeats the purpose of the rating system. If you truly think you have a quality game, then you should request honest feedback, and offer your codes up to reputable review sites which will not bogusly inflate your review score (unless you actually earn it).
you can try the Lite version... This contest is ONLY for people who really like the game and don't mind giving it a 5 star. I want to award the people who really appreciate the game and hard work put into it. If you don't like the lite and don't think its worth a 5 starts please DON'T enter the contest. I have no doubt that you put a lot of effort into the game, and I'm not trying to belittle that at all. I think its fatastic that anyone that puts in the time and effort can get a game published. I just think that when you dangle a free $15 iTunes card as a possible prize for a 5-star review...something tells me you'll be getting more than a few "extra" five-star reviews?
How is that bad? It totally depends on the ethics of the user. I just dot want to waste my promocodes on people who don't care at all.
Even if you have noble intentions and this is the greatest game ever released on the iPhone, I think if you want honest feedback, this is probably not the best way to go about it. You are better off starting a facebook fan page or twitter feed and giving it away to followers or people who give you real suggestions on ways to improve the game or tell you in detail what they like, to prove that they actually even played it. Just my opinion. I'll shut up now and leave this thread alone, going to check out the lite version of Zombie City HALLOWEEN now.
Not a bad idea, i will surely consider in the future. But the rational behind this competition is not meaningless. I am getting only the peeps who are really interested. Hope you like the game
