Tap on the picture of the item and it will give you stats. Also, I've noticed the color of he circle around the item tells you the quality. Grey < green < blue < ?

Harvester sprites are found and explained in the tutorial stage. They are the pinkish orangey things and they can be a little more hidden.

For some that are finding it hard to damage enemies, use the 4th skill to lower enemy defense and follow up with a heavy attack. Tap on your characters icon and you'll get their combat info including a description of their different choices.

While some people seem to be hitting a bug not getting Kadyn, i can say the only problem I have had is a crash after a battle. The combat is rewarding and the world building is interesting. The levels design is quite solid...I'm really enjoying this.

For those concerned about some people feeling like this is a F2P game disguised as premium, I don't get that impression at all. I can see some elements that COULD have been exploited as F2P mechanics at one point but they obviously have balanced the game away from that. Gold and EXP gain is generous and I haven't felt the need to do any grinding.

Now the bugs on the other hand...I personally haven't run into anything, but I'm worried about moving forward with my game until they iron out a lot of these issues.

Only other issues is some things could be explained better, and a map for each area is sorely needed. This could have gone through some better quality control, but I get the impression that the developer is on it. It's only been out a couple days and I'm sure it will take a little bit of time for them to address these issues.

Wonderful game but I found the direction for quest extremely lacking. Often I'm wasting time figuring out who should I talk to before progressing. Wasted half an hour finding out what to do for a quest. Simply tedious and borderline annoying.

Agreed with above, there are some issues, but the only major one I've had was corrected within hours of release. This is a great step in the right direction for premium games on ios. Very few games top this in terms of depth and quality for new IPs that aren't ports. They'll work out the kinks, very few real issues. Watch the interview with the CEO Mario Rizzo (youtube) and you'll see the calibre and commitment the team represents. Again, I'm having a blast with this, don't let the issues discussed so far (though valid) stop you from enjoying this gem.

There's a quest icon in the top right corner and I think there's another one in the menu for side quests. People that have quests have an question mark over there head.

I'm a little perplexed why you gave an otherwise "wonderful game" 2 stars. Blood in the water, so to speak?

Just got this game last night, but went to bed during the jail break. Started playing again today and been having a lot of fun. What allies in particular do you all think are the strongest? Ulan's taunt looks very useful, and Kadyn's smoke bomb is pretty useful too. Ulan has that heavy damage + vulnerability that is awesome though...

For everyone past the Prison, what unit (if any) did you sub out to put both Ulan and Eko on your party? At first I just added Ulan and left Kadyn in but after a few battles I went back and swapped Eko in. Having a source of magical damage and non-item healing helps a lot.

Speaking of that, I can't wait to unlock the new jobs for Cael. Both of the two accessible jobs are Magic based, with Alchemist being more suited to setting things on fire and doing damage, whereas the Sage is more defensive and can heal and reduce damage on allies.

I really hope they unlock more jobs soon. It's also a bit disappointing we can't change classes for our party members, but it looks like there's plenty of party members later on to swap around.

Since I just started the Eko quest, is there any advice that those of you further ahead can give? I've upgraded Cael to a new weapon, got one for Kadyn in jail, and got a new halberd for Ulan from the end of the jail quest. Currently farming the first zone of the Wetland to level up Eko's weapon, so any advice would be appreciated!

I had the same issue! I ended up just creating a new account using a different user name and email because I couldn't figure out what else to do.

I swapped Eko in for Kadyn. I've found his healing to be absolutely invaluable, can't imagine switching him out unless maybe Cael gets some healing spells down the road or we get another healing character. At some point I do want to go back to Kaydn so she doesn't fall too far behind. Although Ulan's heavy attack and stun moves make me not want to get rid of her either...

With how many potential party members they show in the menu screen, it looks like it's going to be a chore to get them all leveled up seeing as how inactive party members don't get EXP.

about a cumulative of five hours of play by simply doing the method I explained. I am just on the third world, and while it was sort of a figure it out yourself; it was fun having the "ahhh this is how you do it..." moments. The downside to using the grind method I explained (using heroic) is that your characters over lvl20 gain no exp in the lowest difficulty missions.

I sleep at least 6 hours a night BTW.

Actually those are mostly jobs I believe. Those aren't party members. I think there's only 2 other party members you can get and I'm betting they're of the remaining races you've met in the story. Beast guy and gecko monster?

As for party, I can see people swapping out the bird girl as she's the strongest of the 4 starting characters but her chance stun move is nearly useless and the smoke screen rarely ever works. So she's powerful but her skills are C tier imo.

Ulan is the best party member right now until I've seen the newer characters. All her moves are extremely useful and her stats show her pretty much as a tank with a lower attack damage. I don't think I'll ever swap her out so my third slot will be the random party member spot.

Yea, Eko's cleanse is invaluable in the swamp boss fight, though the game thankfully gives you several of them from the side quests.

I've done the same thing as well; used Ulan and Eko for quite a while and now Kadyn has fallen behind. I'd like to put her back in so I can catch her up and level her weapon up.

Guess a bit of grinding wouldn't hurt. I'm in the Wetland Castle place now and my units are level 12-14, Kadyn being 7. What are everyone else's levels like?

By the way, I highly suggest everyone upgrade all the basic skill upgrades on the skill tree; they are the 3 initial skill slots that cost 100 job points each. Upgrading all of them helps a lot I've found; the vulnerability skill now also has a defense down, and the heavy damage one (should be first to get) does a hefty amount of damage. The one that does light damage and gives you protection only boosts the buff from 25% reduction to 33% reduction, so it isn't that useful imo. The other two are by far more useful. After getting all three, I've been working my way down the Attack path after getting the first few cheap +defense ones, since you get so much defense compared to the Attack/etc buff skills early on.

I'm curious when the second job will appear for Cael. Looking forward to it.

Defense down sounds great! Sounds like that skill will be actually usable for me now. Do you happen to know what causing vulnerablity does? I was experimenting with it and damage wise it didn't see to help. Is it for status effects? Since I can't figure it out it I stopped using that skill all together.

Mmmmm.. I hope the other characters will still be able to upgrade their battle options! For example, there is no point to eco' slight attack, because you can use the medium every round...or at least it seems like it, between healing and status clearing.

Cael is going to be a beast when he gets his skills up...

I just got through the Swamp and just started the Wetland Castle area. Stupid question, but is Eko supposed to fight? On battle screens, all I have is Cael, Ulan and Kadyn.

I've done fine with just the three of them (all level 11 and 12).

Also, even though this is a different area, it's part of the same quest for Eko. So I'm wondering if I can exit the area, go to the city to upgrade equipment, etc. and come back directly to the castle? Or will I have to go through the swamp all over again?

Really digging this and am lucky that, to my knowledge, I haven't hit any bugs (except the prison one that was fixed) and have had no crashes.

You only have three party members at a time. You can swap party members by talking to one of the soldiers in the main city (sorry - don't remember exactly where).

The castle is a separate zone, so you can leave and come back to it freely.

Vulnerability increases damage by a flat % and stacks up to 4 times; both Cael's fighter and Ulan can apply vulnerability, just beat Kitoto castle so there might be more. It's better once you get a full squad of 3 and can 'chain' it and build up stacks.

Also I just unlocked my second class. Surprisingly, it wasn't one of the two released classes from the website (Sage and Alchemist) but instead I got Mystic! It's a magical class that has a focus on debuffs. It has an AoE, a physical damage spell, and a group buff (+Atk, +Int, plus another random buff).

I'm going to upload a pic of the Mystic class. I also noticed that every class has its own skill tree. This game started slow but I really like it now.

    Pics of Mystic below, spoilers!

An interesting class for sure. Going to try using it with Ulan and Eko. You unlock it at the end of Kitoto Castle after the boss there.

By the way, you can freely leave a dungeon anytime, though I suggest waiting until you find a checkpoint so you can teleport around inside.

While in battle, if you click on a unit's pic on the bottom you'll see their stats, buffs and debuffs. You can click on them further for info when you see unknown icons. Special ones to watch for are the rats' blue eye (crit Attack next turn) and anything bosses do. This is how I learned the differences between regular and upgraded skills, when the skill wasn't a flat damage boost.
