I can confirm that this does run on an iPhone 5 but right now there are so many bugs that I'm not sure if that's because of the game or my phone @_@
Dear players, I cannot stress enough how valuable your feedbacks are to us. We keep submitting them to the appropriate persons from the Zodiac team! RinoaHeartily, I apologize for the template you received, our support tool was not entirely configured for Zodiac. From now on, you (and other adventurers) can expect answers to all the questions you may submit. You should receive very soon an answer to your previous request. Thank you for your understanding and for your support! Hugo, from the CM team
And does the Zodiac team have any answers? Because in all honesty this thread is just getting worse and worse. I can't imagine how many sales you must be losing. Edit: I didn't mean to sound so harsh but I just went to the 'official' Zodiac Orcanon Odyssey forum and some of the things I read there about Kobojo weren't very pleasant.
Just popping in to add my voice. I had Zodiac on the top spot of my shopping list, only reason I didn't buy it right away and run into the same frustrating problems others encountered for me (thanks folks for taking the dive!) was that I have a full schedule and no time to focus on a new game right now. Anyways, with that out of the way: @Kobojo: Can you at least give us an estimate till when you can judge how long it'll take to fix the most blatant problems? I know that just figuring out how long something will take to resolve doesn't happen on the spot; which is why I am not asking for anything more than a rough date when we can expect a more indepth update.
I second the post above. Also, can we know when zodiac will be scheduled for release in the Asian app stores? Thanks.
I wouldn't be too quick to rush into it. Maybe the Asian regions will get a more finished game and we were more of a test group
Pirates haven doesn't mean no one buy premium games.. finding illegal apks have a risk of containing malware and that will not happen if we download from the play store.. Star wars KOTOR have about 100 thousand sales and final fantasy dimensions have about 100 thousand sales too.. About no monitoring, i haven't see any malware app on the store.. And ripoff, the real thing is clearly different from the ripoff.. i haven't see any ripoff of premium games,so if they release this game as premium, i doubt a ripoff will appear.. IMO, android's premium player are just like ios's premium player, and their pirates are just like ioses too.. Lots of devices to test doesn't justify making this game f2p right? They still have lost of device to test even if it's f2p.. adding a minimum device specification requirement helps to limit the test too..
I've played it a little bit. I do like the visuals but some of the UI is counter intuitive and the skill trees don't offer much explanation on what upgrading a skill does. I also feel that the game is a little soulless. With all the gorgeous fmvs there's not a single sound effect and makes it feel very lacking.
Man, I was really looking forward to this. Now I'm glad I didn't instabuy. Slapping a price tag on a freemium game does not make it premium. :/
Hello again fellow adventurers I would love to provide you an ETA for the upcoming fixes but at the moment I cannot. The team is well aware of the couple of issues that you reported, they are doing their best to solve them as soon as possible. Would you wish to give us more details about the issues, you can open a support ticket here: https://nexus.kobojo.com/Support Thank you for your collaboration!
I've written up some impressions of the game so far f anyone's interested. It's not a review but I still don't want to post a direct link here in case it annoys someone. It's mostly written for those who are unsure about whether or not they want to take the plunge and buy the game. PM me if anyone's interested in reading it. Ok back to playing.
This thread is bumming me out. This game is fun but sucks in so many different fashions that I'm close to DELETING. Support just doesn't seem to be appropriate for such a flawed game. Sad and lacking. Maybe reload in the future, too many A+ titles backlogged. Sorry but not sorry, fun but not fun.
I don't know what to think about this game. I was so excited for it and I love the idea. While I'm enjoying the game, I'm very concerned though because the game feels half done. In addition to the numerous critical bugs I've encountered, the game lacks a map (which is critical given the homogeneous, maze-like landscapes), there is no inventory management, and only 3 of 14 classes / jobs are in place (I'm VERY concerned that they will be added as purchased chapters - which I will be extremely hesitant to buy given what I've seen so far). I hope that the developers will continue to update the game and eventually put out a complete game, but I wonder if the premium business model will work against us in this case. On the positive side, the world is interesting, I've enjoyed the gameplay, and the game has tremendous potential. While some people have expressed concerns about the late decision of switching from a free-to-play to a premium model, I really haven't seen any evidence so far of a free-to-play history (with the possible exception of the option to invite friends via Facebook - and I have NO idea what the benefits are or why anyone would want to do this). I've seen a glimpse of a branching weapon upgrade tree, though I haven't explored it too deeply, but that seems interesting. While I would like the option to grind (replay levels where mobs are respawned), the developers suggest that this is possible after level 50 (titan mode) which is great. I'm really looking forward to seeing what the future holds for this game.
I agree with post above I would actually love more grinding as the combat is very good and requires you to think out strategies which is a major plus. This game doesn't spell it all out for you but if you will put in the time and give it a honest play you will like it. Some of the complaints i am seeing on here i do not share with other players. Love this game and to me very easily worth the price and if you think the price is unfair I feel sorry for you as a gamer. I just figured out I can buy weapons heals etc from another guy in the market place so that helped me a lot.
Second Job for CAEL I finally got his second job and the way they integrated the controls to switch on the fly between jobs is AWESOME!!!! I wish FFT had thought of this...great job Team Kobojo
You can grind by simply entering a heroic dungeon and before you hit a save point exit and re-enter as many times as you like...I have all four of my current team mates up to lvl30 and over 1mil in gold and several skills unlocked by grinding this way.
