This zenonia is the shortest one i played. There's only like 2 city's, and like 3 real bosses the whole game. And old skills from previous games already like sword spin.
just downloaded it and it seems that you need to be connected to internet inorder to play it. is it just me or the game needs to be online all the time? lol reminds me of diablo3 drm fiasco
Playing on my galaxy tab 2....just another IAP fest ...I would pay 7 bucks for it if they were too do away with freemium...,same ol movie guys....no need to rewind ....and its not one that you need to watch twice to get the twist if you know what I mean Agreed that avy shop is complete BS
Couldn't agree more on the Avatar Shop idea. Ridiculous to the highest degree at the sacrificing of cutting corners to not allow Chest/Helmet armors to change appearance (no helmet appears at all for that matter) when equipped. No way in the world I'd buy an Avatar... Here is the IAP breakdown for Android to give others a general idea of what to expect for iOS: I was really hoping to be able to play this offline after the initial boot too. Still picking this up later once it's available in the US.
I'm hoping the IAP scheme is modelled after Zenonia 4, which had no absolute paywalls, no gameplay timers or narrative, locational and mission-based content or mechanics locked away behind purchase requirements. (What the IAP store did sell, stuff like items, gold and bag expansions, certainly unbalaced the game, and made the async PvP a mockery, but could at least be ignored in the single player experience.)
It didn't for Android, just required you grind a little more to stay ahead which I had no problem with because I in turn acquired better loot and more gold from it.
Zenonia 4 was one of the few KRPG's for the iPhone I've ever finished (paying no money either!) and I rarely ever felt like I was grinding especially versus MMORPG style or even Final Fantasy. I'd played the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd zenonia and could not get into it, but the 4th one had a way of pulling you in. If number 5 is anything like its predecessor then I'm sure I'll love it again. Don't remember paywalls in Zenonia 4... Definitely nothing like Punch Hero or Arel Wars, both of which I loved and would like to have gotten more into if they hadn't made them impossible ("near impossible" in the case of Punch Hero) to beat without throwing cash their way. Oh, video game addictions... you have your ways with me!
