At the rate they are going we will have 4 or 5 more tables by January 1st ! They act like next week.....Maybe Tuesday since the game came out on Tuesday ? When they update the DLC......do they update the App too ?
No, they're going to still be releasing non-Marvel tables too. They just released the Paranormal table on 360 around halloween, plus I know they're working on another medieval themed table called Epic Quest with some RPG elements too.
Hey guys, just thought I'd stop by to say I fixed the local scores issue. I think it must have been a bug. All I did was use the operator's menu to reset the local high scores and they appeared, so if anyone else has the problem, the solution is right there in the pause menu Awesome, the Paranormal table looks great! I hope they bring it to iOS. I'm so tempted to go back and start playing the PS3 version again but at the same time I don't want to spend too much money and I don't wanna make the iOS port feel obsolete 'cause I'm really enjoying it.
What themes does Zen revolve around? I see they're kinda into Marvel franchise so I was wondering, would they make tables based on other game franchises?
You can check out a bunch of non-Marvel tables here: http://www.zenpinball.com/ ...under the Tables tab
Yep, check there, and to give you a quick answer: yes, they have done tables for other game franchises such as Street Fighter and Ninja Gaiden tables.
All three tables are just awesome! Alright, for the physics I sometimes feel there's a really strong magnet below the flippers and for not having antialias ball looks scrached but, it doesn't matter!! Because they are so fun to play that I don't find pararel in other iOS pinballs I can overlook such small things I'm so happy with this. Thanks so much for these tables! BTW, what is the "challenge display" in the video setting menu?
I think that's the little window that tells you if you're approaching a high score, but I'm not 100% sure since I have almost everything turned off to make it run smoother.
Challenge display shows you one of your friends scores in the top right corner, to give you a score to beat. I'm glad you mentioned it was optional actually, because it's kinda ugly. It doesn't use the dot matrix display, which would be nicer, it's just a dark box slapped on the top of the screen.
Got this on my iPhone, it's great... But I just bought it from the e store on my 3DS...It's awesome in 3D... So if u love the iOS version and u also have a 3DS.... I highly recommend
I see. Yeah, it doesn't look terribly good so I can turn it off tho it's kinda handy when it tells that I've reached a new high-score... BTW, I love the dot matrix and set it large on my iPad2 with no performance problem at all (I often manually kill large memory eaters in the background before playing tho). I changed the color in the utility page so it's a easier to see (love to see those animation etc).
So you can change the colour and still upload high scores then? I didn't know how strict it was and thought maybe any messing about in the menu would disable them.
I should try killing background apps before I play because I do miss having the dot matrix on. I got a response from Zen on their forum and they are working on improving the performance for all devices, so that's good.
Just downloading the two tables and it's taking forever. Easily the longest downloads I've done. Might be because my ISP is having a "free downloads" weekend or perhaps it's like this for everyone? Haven't played with the operations menu yet. Anything good in there?
I'm on a 1Mbit connection and the Wolverine table only took a couple of minutes. I haven't looked at the menu much yet, it's got basic things like reset scores, preset difficuties, number of balls, tilt options, etc.
I do have a 3DS and find this statement very intriguing, indeed. How would you rate the 3D? Of course, even if I wanted to buy this I couldn't, since I'm not in Europe. Still would like to know, though. Does it look better than the iOS version?
I'm interested to know as well actually, my sister has a 3DS I could steal It's gonna be a fine line though, you get the depth but you're also dropping from 960x640 to 400×240 in the process.
They have done a great job with the 3D in this game... Really looks like the table is real. The table really looks good on the screen, the different resolution doesn't matter ...
My IAP's are taking about 30 minutes. Very unusual. Thanks. I'll check it out soon. Just added a poll to this thread, to see which of the three tables people prefer.
