The Balance of the Force tables will be available on PSN in North America on October 15th and on XBLA, Steam, Windows 8, iOS, Google Play, Kindle and PSN in Europe on October 16th. The separate app for Star Wars Pinball 2 is out on the app store, but the big Zen Pinball app that contains ALL the tables hasn't been updated yet. Does anyone know what's going on? I want it all and I want it now!
Yep bit of a pain last time as there was quite a gap between the two. Not saying they've done it on purpose but i'm sure many people (including me) thought i'll just buy it again. Must admit i just keep with star wars pinball now, the zen pinball games are great just prefer SW though
It's likely on purpose because of folks like me. I got tired of waiting for the main app to update yesterday, so I just bought the SW pinball app instead. It meant an extra $2 for them because I'm not patient enough to wait. All three new SW tables are fantastic. I like the Starfighter one best, followed by the Vader, then ROTJ. They seem to have messed with the ball physics on the ROTJ table though...feels like you're playing with a rubber bouncy ball. Hitting the lower bumpers sends the ball flying across the table, which is pretty annoying. Otherwise, these are fantastic additions.
Zen told me that Apple was holding it for approval for some reason, they don't know why. Should be out sometime today, it's an update to the app that's holding it
This is really getting on my nerves, I waited whole day and night yesterday ( and still refreshing App Store every 30 minutes today ) for tables to show up in main Zen app and nothing.They mentioned some problems about SW license , what problem when you released them already on your other app in App Store??!! I will be surprised if they even show today , so very disappointed with Zen.....
Have you tried PinballArcade? I prefer it and love playing digital versions of real life tables. In fact, PA is probably my favorite app after buying both season passes. IMO, it blows the zen tables away.
Just posted the reason it's Apple that's at fault not Zen give them a break, I'm disappointed too I've been waiting but it's not in their control unfortunately.
Having played a ton of both, I'd strongly disagree. Playing real life tables is neat, but I much prefer all the crazy bells and whistles the Zen tables have.
I just really dislike the crazy stuff the ball does sometimes on the zen tables. It's like the physics are off or something. Plus, the zen tables are too damn easy, IMO.
Anyone know if there are differences between the tables like the other star war tables? Light vs Dark?
Some of them are easy some of them not, they have a good balance that way you can enjoy some tables and rack up points. I think they do a good job putting out tables that are for a certain group and some for others.
Zen gets paid either way, since these are add on tables, so I doubt the delay is deliberate. When you buy these on Playstation, you get the Zen Pinball downloads as well as standalone Star Wars Pinball table downloads in one purchase. I wish it were that way in iOS now! Still looking forward to these, just wish they could live with the Marvel tables instead of "coming soon." Maybe today will be the day. In the meantime, I do have the Sony versions too.
Bad news apple didn't approve the update with the new tables, Zen has resubmitted it with changes so hopefully it will be out soon

Yes , PA licensed original tables are amazing.I have Season 1 tables and couple of packs from season 2 , enjoying DMD tables a lot and even some older ones.PA has much better ball physics , but is also more difficult than Zen. Zen , on the other hand, has full freedom to experiment and unleash creativity with digital versions of tables because they aren't bound with limitations physical tables had. Really hoping they will update app over weekend because I want to have all tables in one app with unified leaderboards.My finger is dangerously hovering over buy button of Star Wars 2 app and playing previous SW tables makes waiting even worse.
