I remember playing Star Wars pinball table that had battledroids and Naboo fighter artwork on it as a kid, don't remember if it was about episode 1 or 2. Other table I remember very good , as I played it almost whole day while I was with my parents at some guys birthday , is Bram Stoker Dracula, I would give everything to play it once more !
i could use some tips with this game. some tables are brutal. i need to get from being "sort of good newbie" to "kick ass!" hahha i know, lots of practice, BUT, is there any good sites for tips/strategies/guides to be a better video pinball player?
Count me in for some strategy tips as well. I am having fun, but quite clueless as what I am supposed to be doing on Epic Quest and the SW tables. Thanks in advance!
In terms of specific table guides, I mostly just use the built in ones. Start up the table you want to learn, hit pause, then hit the table guide button. You can use the built in table guides, which I find it to be comprehensive enough for me. Of course, I sometimes wish Zen would make it more clear the targets you currently have to hit. Rob-O-Bot and Pinball Crystal Caliburn II are both pretty clear what I have to target so those 2 tables I basically don't need a table guide.
Couldn't agree more. The single biggest complaint I have for every single Zen table I have played is the overall vagueness, coupled by targets/objectives that are not nearly visible enough. I often have to scan the tables for the 'flashing lane' to hit, when the reality is it is blinking at best.
Zen is working on 7 more Star Wars tables according to their FB page hopefully they are coming to iOS
As said above, read the table guide. Especially on Zen tables just shooting flashing lanes won't do it for major scoring. First learn how to activate ball savers and kickbacks. Then take a look at the missions. Ball control is very easy on Zen tables so take advantage of it. Learn to catch balls, hold them on your flipper, then aim. Once you get the hang of these things you'll probably end up letting the ball drain because games take way too long There are a good amount of youtube video's on flipper techniques and i highly recommend watching them.
Update! And warning?! I just updated, but now cannot get past the splash screen. I see the Zen Studios screen pop up, but after about 10 seconds, I crash back to the springboard. You may want to wait for confirmation that the update works from others before downloading the update. iPad 4, 64GB, 3G, latest iOS, never jailbroken.
Crashing here as well but making some guesses here. Since the very first thing it does after starting up is hit you with the latest news, in this case the new tables, perhaps something funky is happening when the game is trying to access the company's server for the latest news?
Same. Crash on startup now. Well... im not really worried. A fix should be out real soon, and there's the separate Star Wars tables that i play more than this.
The problem seems to be related with the Paranormal table. For now the only solution is to reinstall and not download the Paranormal table. Lets wait for a patch...
I only have the Epic Quest and the 3 Star Wars tables and the app runs fine. Glad the update is here..and glad we don't have to redownload tables. =)
Yeah, it is definitely the Paranormal table. I would have waited for a fix, but I do love the Infinity Gauntlet storyline.
Yeah mine crashes too but had a feeling it meant new tables!! So at this point I'm just happy for more tables!!
