Is Zen Pinball the best pinball game on iOS?
Is it better than the GameProm pinball game?

No, it's definitely NOT the best! Go with Pinball Arcade that just came out! Seriously.

There are some very good pinball games in iOS App Store. ZEN Pinball belongs to the best without any doubts. It's an excellent fantasy pinball. A real adventure with LOTS of things to discover, mini games…

Hard to tell. Maybe. OOO Gameprom's pinballs are a bit more realistic gameplay-wise (but enough fantasy elements). Their latest table DaVinci is excellent as well. If you're on an iPad I think there is a free version to try "Pinball HD Collection". Love their 3D view option (w glasses) and the possibility to push balls back into the playfield when they are in the out area (w tilt).

And there is—very new—a fun to play simulator of real world tables "Pinball Arcade". Interesting as well.

Dammit! I'm getting so tired of having to re-download all tables every time I go to play this game, make an update, or sync it. Off to leave a 1 star review until they fix this crap. This has been a problem since day 1 and they've done nothing to fix it.

Are you sure you have to re-download everytime? I get the itunes login popup ( even with the update that has just hit ) everytime I start the app but I just click cancel and it goes away, I don't have to download anything.

Yes, I'm sure. I get the login pop-up too (which they annoyingly also didn't fix with the last update), but on top of that I have to redownload the tables, which takes about 10 minutes per table each time. Many others have complained about this same problem, it happens for sure with every update or sync, and sometimes just randomly too.

The patch that dropped last night added support for the Epic Quest table (like the GC/OF leaderboards) but I still don't see it as an IAP option in the game (still just the "Coming soon!").

Just downloaded and played epic quest and it's laggy as hell. Almost unplayable. Very disappointing,it's so much fun on ps3.

On my iPhone 4 the new table is running perfectly smooth! One of the smoothest of the bunch. Great table.

Damn, if the ball in Pinball Arcade would look that good!

That's strange, cause I just downloaded it and it runs very smooth.

iPad 2 though. What are you playing it on?

Kind of nitpicking, but I wish the epic quest menu square was next to the other non-marvel tables, and the three Marvel tables next to each other in the menu.

Keep clicking on it -- eventually you'll get the iTunes prompt.
