WTH this app deleted the 2 tables I had bought , for no apparent reason , (I've never deleted it from my ipad) and now it is asking me to buy them AGAIN !!!! What a rip off !!!
right. I'm off to track down maximusscrotius's other post to see if it makes any more sense than the one in this thread...
Maximusscrotus and psj3809 are in the midst of a multi-thread pissing match so the post doesn't need to make any sense contextually.
Happened to me too. I don't know IOS but I have a feeling that if the iPad is very tight on space and you do something like update some app, it'll go scrounging for space and might even kick out certain kinds of app data. Perhaps the extra Zen table data downloads are marked "delete if you really need the space" or something. But like I said I don't know IOS. Anyway as others have said, you will NOT be charged if you "buy" the tables again. It'll go through the motions right until the end, and then say: "Oh, you've bought it already. You can download it for free."
Actually, there just seems to be a weird contingent of people who are fetishists about re-writing the posts of others so they are odd and inappropriate. I've seen this a lot on TA, but usually just ignore it. Here, I'm mentioning it because I had a "WTF moment" when I saw this post 2 pages back: ...which you'll notice bears a striking resemblance to my post on page 1 of this thread: The post you guys are referring to is an exact replica of a PSJ post in the recent "Diablo-like ARPG game" thread (forget the name).
Yes, I had this problem a lot. In fact, I had the tables deleted every time I synched my iPod Touch to my PC. I went to the ZP website and found that the reason is because, when your device is low on space, iTunes will look to temporarily free space on your device, which results in a loss of the ZP IAP. Apparently the developers don't have a backup configured properly with iTunes. The tables also disappear if you restore your device to factory settings and then restore files from a backup (this is not the case for other IAPs). Hopefully the devs fix this problem, as it's very, very annoying. In the meantime, yes, you can just re-download the tables for no charge. If you don't want to have to do this every time you sync, however, you'll need to free some extra space up on your device (so you don't get the "running low on space" message).
That disappearing tables but was annoying as heck. Glad they (allegedly) fixed it. I guess only time will tell if they really solved it.
Will it be laggy too? Yaaay! I bought the first 3 and I'm surprised at the amount of good reviews so far and I'll wait until he existing ones are made decent before I decide to get more.
