That table has so much cool looking stuff you almost want to watch the table as much as the BALL...lol ! ----------- My wife was watching me play that table this afternoon and asking how I was able to stop watching all the cool stuff enough to play
I like the table so far. There's a lack of feedback during missions. Many times I was hitting the right spots and there were no sounds or lights to tell you anything had happened. Weird. This table would be good for folks that want something a bit easier than Cap or Wolverine. It is easy to keep the ball and play, easy to light the kickbacks and ball save, and the center hole puts the ball where you need it during some of the missions, which makes those a bit easier too.
I was thinking the same thing....but I've been going between Portrait and Landscape mode playing....so that could be why...lol....Can't figure out which I like better. I like the Landscape because you can see everything better and bigger.....but I like the Portrait since it just *feels* more like a pinball table (reckon I like them both).
Wow, so I got all the tables on the PS3 downstairs, all the tables on the 360 upstairs and now collecting all the tables on my iPad when I'm outside. Geez! Great port BTW Zen bros!
Does anyone else have major problems triggering the lightning strike and the dragon loop dropdown in Thor? In case you didn't know, during these loops you see the checkmark box on the middle-right of the screen. Clicking that will either strike the ball with lightning or dump it below the ramp respectively. Its extremely hard to trigger this reliably. There is some weird timing at play here, and no feedback on whether your click registered or not. On PS3 or X360 I'm sure this is controlled with a button. For us here on iPad, I think Zen needs to rethink how to approach these types of controls for table features. I'm hoping it can be improved in future versions. Thoughts?
Wow, I had no idea. I thought when that checkbox was popping up that it was a bug of some kind. You're right, though, I just tried it and it is really difficult to get the timing right.
Are you nearly out of space on your device? That was one thing that came up in the Zen forums - it could be that the OS is removing the tables to free up space because the device is nearly full.
I think you mean anti-aliasing. Aliasing is the jaggies you see, while anti-aliasing means that the jaggies have been removed.
Is there any chance of getting more or different balls? I like the physics and the tables and this is easily my favorite Pinball game for iOS, but the ball is hard to see and too shiny. If there's something I've noticed about these pinball games it's the developers keep trying to do something different with the balls instead of just having a normal pinball.
Its Ok Its Ok...Its will be the year of pinball ... By the way...haven't looked forward to a new release this much since, like, Deathsmiles or Final Fantasy Tactics I think...
Thou art correct. It kind of looks like they also lowered the res of the texture on the ball perhaps and made it less reflective.
