Oh boy, I hope "first DLC" means a batch of tables and not just one. Not that I'd be complaining either way, I'm just greedy and want everything right now.
Since the they came out in pairs (Captain America and Wolverine) when they launched the app....maybe that's a good sign....maybe we will get 2 tables at a time
Anyone else encounter a serious bug on Sorcerer's Lair: -Go into the cellar mission. Suddenly the screen viewpoint lurches off to the left, leaving you helpless as you fall from the cellar. Then, when you come back to the main table, your flippers make noise but do not move. It seems to me you may still be moving the cellar flippers, off-screen? Anyway, its the first and only bug I've found but its pretty serious! I lost a pretty good scoring run to it
Yeah, and Zen confirmed that this bug is fixed in the update.....which they said is waiting to be approved by Apple. It's been awhile now, so it should be out soon.
Did the post the change list for the patch? I'm hoping they are fixing the issue with not being able to hit the top-most skill shot on Cap's table (could be specific to the view I'm using (landscape3?). I keep meaning to check others.
Not that I know of. So far, I think they only confirmed that the cellar bug was fixed on the SL table. It sounds like the update was submitted over a week ago....
I'm very tempted. I have the 16GB iPad 1 and I'm constantly having to delete stuff to clear room for new games, so a 32GB iPad 2 would be a breath of fresh air, in more ways than one.
I think I experienced this as well. After making the first skill shot you have 20-30 seconds to get it up the flashing ramp to save Bucky as he parachutes to the ground. I've done that before, but I noticed in one game I hit the ramp and didn't save Bucky, then the time ran out. Weird!
Well, I took the plunge and sold my iPad 1 (16GB) on ebay (can't believe someone paid $371, but it just goes to show how well they hold their value)..... and I took the money and ordered a refurbished iPad 2 (32GB) since my wife offered to pay the rest for my Christmas present....I needed more hard drive space too, so it was good timing. Can't wait to play Zen smoothly for once! Also really looking forward to The Pinball Arcade next month. Now I'll have room for all the tables
The issue is that there are three possible positions for the skill shot. In at least some camera modes, it is not possible to hit the top most position. WTG Jeff!
Hey Jeffy777, just saw your post at the Zen forums. The new Epic Quest table looks incredible. I hope it makes its way to iOS.
Right on, and agreed about Epic Quest. Well, just got my iPad 2 and WOW! The performance difference in Zen between the iPad 1 and 2 is incredible. The game is as smooth as silk now. It's like night and day.....and it's so nice to be able to turn the DMD back on so I can actually see my score/missions.
Hey gang, we're getting Thor! Check out the achievements in GameCenter! *Happy Dance* I still get tons of hiccups on my iPad2 for some reason. But like I said previously, it has seemed a bit pokey since I upgraded to iOS 5.
Yeah, new table tomorrow! Also, I asked if they would release Epic Quest at the same time as the table is (properly) released on the PS3 and 360, and they confirmed that's the plan, so we should see it out the end of January.
OH MAN....you lucky dude !!! I played these on the PS3 last night and it was so much faster I really stunk after being used to the iPad 1 version...lol Congrats on the iPad 2....I know you will enjoy it ! How about the graphics....can you tell any difference ?
