Somebody SAVE ME!!!! im addicted to zen bound!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh who else cant put their ipod touch down? i thjnk this is the best game ever!!!!!
well that's a bit extreme... take it easy man, it would be worse if you couldn't pick it up... or if you had no arms... so you literally couldn't pick it up! also is it that good?
sry bout that i think i was high. i think its really good. i bought sway with zen bound but i seem to be playing zen bound more
Well I have to say I am definitely not disappointed. Graphics are AMAZING and I love the soundtrack. Zip files again. Bleh. Oh well. Worth it. I 1000% (yes, one thousand) recommend it.
What do you mean you "think" you were high. You don't go from incredibly high to normal in a span of 10 minutes and not remember if you were just high ? Anyway, I have no time this week to enjoy this or Sway but I think I will pick both up this weekend. I'm glad to hear, from a lot of people, that this game is living up to the hype
Wow, I'm so in love with this game, it's obscene. Just utterly fantastic, the execution is near flawless.* The control blows me away, it's so intuitive. The game much more involving when you don't have to fight the controls. The subtleties are fantasic, the way the rope follows the iPhone's tilt is superb. The music is awesome too. *my only wish so far is that there was a way to confirm that you want to complete a level. A few times I have accidentally hit the nail to finish before I intended.
I was thinking exactly the same thing. I hate people who think its cool to do drugs as if there aren't millions of people who do, and they're like "oh dude, i was probably high." Probably high? WTF?? Just proof they've never touched a drug in their life. When you're high there's no "I might be high right now"
i love this game (i could go on and on about what makes it so great, but others have already done so)! However, there are 2 things that keep this game from being incredible, and 1 thing that would be a great improvement. 1. Accidental end - Over and over I accidently end a level prematurely, when I want to continue. If you have not already "painted" the area with the end nail, and hope for 100%, you are doomed. 2. Bugs - In many of the tree of challenge puzzles (i haven't noticed it in the animal tree yet) the rope does not "paint" as it should. There are parts where wood is left unpainted completely out of the blue. Don't have wifi, so can't show pics (need to email them) 3. Slippery rope - sometimes, when you are trying to manouver the object, the rope does not cooperate as it slides when you want it to "stick". perhaps when it has already painted some wood, it would become somewhat "sticky".
I think the rope isn't suppossed to be sticky and it is part of the challenge and the nail is suppossed to be tricky so you play strategically. And I haven't seen any bugs that you've described
I agree with the accidental end compaint, in a game meant to be relaxing, it can be quite frustrating. Otherwise, a simply fantastic achievement.
i can see your point with the sticky part. it was overly sticky in zen bondage. it would definitely be easier with being sticky. i don't really want super sticky, so that you can go halfway across a flat side and turn. i just want it not to slip because of accidently manouvering the object just to look or whatever. i also see your point about the nail, but sometimes it gets real annoying and non-zen when you keep having to redo your objects just because of that. here are pics of the bug
Bought this game while in the bathroom and didn't realize that I was cooing all over with statements to myself like "oh wow, that's some good shit." which give my missus the giggles. But the game is brilliantly done and looks so gorgeous. Complete in audio visual and gaming zen. You really do feel like it's to be taken patiently, like the Heinz Ketchup ad, "best things come to those who wait". I would also kindly request for signal if you accidentally finish the model by touching the final nail. Give an option to move onto next model or continue. I think that would offer a solution to what Frand said, about how newbies didn't know the level could end. Oh and absolutely adore the tree as it's lit up on progression!!! Very cool!!!!
The sticky rope is a bother for me to. i'd prefer less sticky rope while playing this. but this game is still great, so i don't really care
I'd like to also make the request. It does seem unnecessarily frustrating, you feel like turning the game off after you do it a couple times in a row. I could see if it deducted points somehow, but I don't think it should end your game. I've rated it at the appstore, have you?
Very Suprised On a whim, I purchased this game. I am not really a big fan of games like this. However, I did have some money left on a gift card and I pulled the trigger. SO GLAD I DID!!!! I was simply lost in a zen like dharma trance this afternoon on my 1hr bus ride... The music draws you in, the controls give you complete control, and you really do find yourself relaxing and simply enjoying a great game. very polished. Excellent game.
Yeah this game grew onto me, fast. I started to really get into it and i began to finish levels with 25/50 m of rope left
That phenomenon happened in the original, too. I'm not at the iPod right now, but try wrapping more slowly; if I recall, sometimes wrapping too quickly causes the game's hit detection to be a little less accurate.
