Having had the pleasure to compile Zen Bound 2 to a physical iPhone4 today, I can say first-hand that the screen is amazing, and seeing the game running on it was inspiring. No, there's no way the game we ship will run on the iPhone4 at anything less than the full Retina Display resolution. The contrast and the detail it allows really accentuates the feeling of depth and tactility in the game magnificently. And I'll stop gushing now and get back to work. Nothing to see here - screenshots would be pointless since no computer display has that kind of pixel density
Two ways: We've both optimized the overall frame-rate on the iPad for some improvement, but the major visible difference is a change that removes the stutters that happen in the beginning of each level.
Still remains one of the, if not the, most creative game for an iDevice. Especially in contrast with the countless number of zombie games nowadays that are all the same.
Haha! Haven't looked at this thread at all as I've never played Zen Bound, and I'm realizing how good this'll look!
got zen bound 2 today, but don't have an ipad, so i'll be waiting for the update to install it on my ipod!
Damn so I just woke up and read the fantastic news that Zen Bound 2 has been updated to be a universal app. I wonder if the sale will still be on when the update hits or if I should buy it now before the price goes back up. Either way I'm very excited to play this.
I don't have an Ipad but I bought the app early knowing that it's going to be Universal and also due to it being on sale.. I mean it was like $7.99? it's a no brainer!
We also submitted updates to Zen Bound and Zen Bound Lite today. Changes are: - Support for iOS4 multi-tasking - Mute-switch silences game audio - Updated "More Games" screen. - OS 3.1 now minimum requirement
So Zen bound 2 includes the entire zen bound 1 in it?!?! If so, im definetly getting this for my 2g itouch. I hope the graphics arent watered down though
