I forgot to mention I hand carved all the images in the app. The collection has 500 sculpted pieces so we will be adding new ones periodically.
Overall, fun puzzle game, right up my alley. You move pieces either diagonally, horizontally or vertically depending on their starting position, and you need to reconstruct the original design. I'd like to see a check mark or some other hint that I've done a puzzle before, and/or a menu showing the best times. Also, it shows "No. X" for any picture I choose - I think the "X" is the current number puzzle completed. It also shows 1 second when I complete a level, not sure why. I think this would also look neat on the iPad. Anyway, overall, very nice pictures, neat puzzle game.
"secondtime", Every time you click on a puzzle an algorithm creates a new puzzle. So when you try to solve a picture for a "secondtime" it is in fact a brand new puzzle using the same picture. This is why we haven't check marked completed puzzles. They are always new.
Thanks for clarifying (and ha, ha)! Neat idea, definitely makes for great replayability. You may want to add that to the description. I still think I'd like to see the top times and which ones I've done so I make sure I do them all at least once. ;-)
I tried the game out last night and thought it was well done and not like anything else I had played. I have a few comments, hopefully that are helpful: - personal preference, but I don't really like the icon for the game. I would rather have a non-face icon. - all of the pictures are basically the same shades of colors, but this may be unavoidable as it is your artwork - I don't really care for the "face" pictures, but again that is a personal preference. - the music is really nice - even though the puzzles are always different, it still might be nice to know which have been played and maybe even how many times they have been played, which could then allow for Game Center achievements - the game is listed under the "lifestyle" category instead of game, which I think is a mistake So, overall I like it and am eagerly anticipating how it grows. I will review it soon.
