And solid quests...one thing IMO REALLY needs...IMO (Lol sorry for the horrible pun xP) Also if any of the devs/beta testers cold give us a hint as to how things are progressing that would be awesome!
Due to the beta test application page thing talking about a secret beta forum, i'd imagine there'll be a NDA thingy.
Mhm, but usually devs are lenient enough to let off a few hints or sometimes even a solid date or two. Of course it will be entirely their choice whether or not to build up the excitement through the wait.
I am beta testing this and it's truly amazing. The debs are awesome and have addressed all of my complaints for the game
Oh, one more thing. Is there/has there been any verification on whether the game is going to be a one-time paid deal with IAPs or a subscription-based system?
Hi everyone, First a big up to the testers who have been of great help during the beta. We have tried our best to meet your priceless demands. The game has finally been submitted last week. If everything goes well, it should be out in August. For best user experience, mainly server saturation stuff and deployment and all, the game will be out in France first (about time France being first in something ), and then hit the other stores around late august/september. For those interested, this release is fully (fully mainly means all the 200 quests, all the rest being quite obvious) translated in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. Moving Player and BulkyPix, our publisher, hope you guys and girls will enjoy our game. Cheers, Phil
Same here ^^ It's great to hear that it'll be out so soon, though I still wonder about the payment methods.
Hi, As for the business model, the game will be sold with unlimited (time or anything) access to the basic islands and game updates (which will include some quite interesting gameplay additions, can't tell more, but we're on it), and we think of opening the upcoming worlds as IAPs, but nothing is completly decided yet, you users will surely help us find the right direction Best, Phil
Thanks for your answer! The business model sounds like a winner, and the "interesting gameplay additions" has me totally hooked. Can't wait 'til this comes out!
For those interested, we have posted a home-made (shot with an iphone4 recording an ipod, remember Blair Witch ? that's worse ) video here Hopefully, a better one should come out in a few days ... Best, Phil
Hi, The game has been accepted by Apple and will be live on the French AppStore the 5th of August. See you on Yslandia.... Phil
The selection of races and character classes at the beginning of the video looks simply amazing. The fantastic art style coupled with the variation in character design is a great tribute to the artist.
