If you're in the middle of typing a reply while a video is playing, the lovely autoreply feature will automatically take you to the next video while you're typing, forcing you to lose whatever text you entered. Lovely...

It's less of a cluster ****. Besides change isn't always a good thing in peoples eyes, you'll get use to it.
That's what I was thinking too at first. At least when I get my iPad, I'll only be using YouTube on it. With it's awesome YouTube interface.
Looks like it's just an April fools joke which has actually saved Youtube money! But when I clicked on the link it didn't take me back to the regular Youtube. I am still stuck with the crappy layout . edit - Now it appears to be true. This is the official new layout and I don't think it is a joke. Yeah, I know that. The Textp resolution is obviously an April Fools joke, but I am still unsure if the layout is a joke or not. I don't think it is a joke.
It's not a joke. But with all of the hate, I'm pretty sure Youtube will change it back. Just look at the comments on the official Youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/youtube?blend=1&ob=4 Pretty much every single comment is a complaint about the new layout and Youtube's channel has lost 10,000 subscribers in the past 24 hours.
Having the "more videos from this user" menu above the player is stupid. Having anything that moves the video while you're trying to watch it is ridiculous. Also having to highlight comments to see their options is pointless.
You're missing the point. I never said they did care, why would they care? It's their own site, lol. It's just a way of showing you how people are responding to the change.
