I'm jailbroken too.
So I'm not one of those "jailbreaking is illegal and bad" people.

 

Youtube doesnt work on mine either.

I jailbroke but only for two hours or so and didnt install anything.

All of the videos embedded on sites and stuff just show up as blank area. The only thing that works is the YouTube app that comes with the iPod. Videos on the actual site dont work.

 

Then go to Cydia and get MxTube if all else fails.

Then you can save your YouTube videos on your iPod.

Also, why not just get MxTube and hide YouTube?

YourTube. Even the MxTube dev recommends it since he's no longer working on or supporting his own.

Didn't know he stopped supporting it. I've never once been able to back videos up from MxTube when having to restore/upgrade firmware. SSH, MxBackup, nothing ever worked for me. I like Yourtube also though I think it's a paid package.

Nice thing about YourTube is that it imbeds itself into the Youtube app and it is seamless.

Works very well, or so I have heard.
