Inotia 2 is the best RPG in it's style. I HATED Zenonia and Inotia 1 but this is great. If this was a top 11 list I would add it.

Without putting a whole lot of thought into it: Soosiz Rolando 2 Labyrinth 2 Super Juicy Doodle Jump Spin Flickitty Ynth Spider Cross Fingers Squareball (though I'm terrible at it) geoSpark Leap Quest Edge Unify Finger Physics I'm fairly sure some of those games are from before 2009 (Spin and Edge, right?), they're new to me as I've only had my iPhone since June or July.
2009 No particular order 1. minigore (awesome game, with HUGE ambitious updates coming out every few months or so. not very popular right now, but it is a mind-blowing, 3d dual-stick cartoon shooter with awesome graphics and intense gameplay. Check it out. 2.COD: Zombies (Who doesn't like blowing the heads off of undead mutants with a pump-action shotgun? Kinda pricey though, hope at least some maps are free. If they are 99 cents or so, i might buy, but idk, should i?) 3. Canabalt (Surprisingly good replayability. It was popular for a while, but not much anymore. It is comparable to Doodle Jump- and got best game of October 2009. You are this little 8-bit guy running on top of buildings in a really neat, nicely done black-and-white world. You jump across buildings, through windows, over obstacles, off of sinking buildings, and avoiding bombs and other things while you run faster and faster. Really intense. 4. Jet Car Stunts (Really nice graphics, again. Best racing experience for the ipod touch. It got Best game of November on toucharcade. Driving a cool little rocket-car through impossible, simple, but remarkable worlds is so fun. Challenging levels make for lots of replayability. Really smooth game. 5. Germs (Very underrated game. It is really under the radar, but it is astounding- You play a glob of this weird viscous substance, that i can't describe very well, you just need to play the game to appreciate its beauty and amazing visuals. You try to eat smaller pieces of gooey stuff and grow bigger and bigger to swallow your opponent. THe graphics are amazing, and the physics involved are so, so cool. Please, take a look at "Germs." You will be really, really surprised. More: Beat IT!, An awesome rhythm game with a fun feel that gives a good brain and musical workout. A good break from Tap Tap. geoSpark- From the critcally acclaimed geoDefense style, with same stunning visuals, but different gameplay. You chain together same-styled objects floating around on the screen together to form combos, which get you points. If two different ones touch, the game ends. It gets really hard, but it is THE MOST ADDICTING GAME ON MY IPOD! You keep going for that score. Nice visuals, intense gameplay, awesome game. Doom Classic. 36 huge, grueling levels of awesome 3d retro carnage, plasma ray guns, and bloody aliens, with global multiplayer updates to come someday. The game that started it all. I never got that "oh snap!" reaction from any other game this year and the puzzles kept me engrossed for a LONG time. I suppose it also fit my favourite genre, but it's a stellar display of intuitiveness, intelligent design and originality nonetheless. ps. I'm going to run a best games of 2009 in my BoiK threads in a weeks time that will last 2 weeks to find the best game of 2009.

Spider The Secret of Bryce Manor eclipses all other games for me and will always have a special place on my iPod Touch unless the devs pull a "Phantom Menace" trick and ruin the whole thing...Or cover the icon with OF logo. The chance of either happening is very low so....
