My top 5 favorite iOS games ever... hmmm...

    In no particular order:;:

    Miss Claire Garden
    Cardinal Quest 2
    .Decluster Zero
    Ravenmark
    Incoboto

I tried to limit it, keeping ports off the list. If I included ports, my list would be top-down full of em. But even keeping ports out, I feel like I've disrespected a handful of games by not putting them on this list... we're so friggin lucky to have so many great games available to us... =oD

    **edit**
yes, a couple of these have been ported over to the PC, and I'm not sure if Cardinal Quest 2 was a PC game first [was it a flash game?] - no idea... - if it is, let me know, there's a few other games that would LOVE to have that spot on my list. =oP

Well, if you dont have it yet, just skip MHFU from my list. Capcom's abandoning it it seems.

Oh man . That's terrible . I bought badland from your list and now I'm thinking of space marshals . You have a pretty good personal description that made me think of buying it . I noticed many updates from the developers and how they alays try to answer all questions from fans

    Sprinkle: Island/Firefighting Fun
Former's the sequel to the latter. Water physics in putting out fires

    Plants vs. Zombies 2
You can play through the entire game just fine without spending any real $$. Maintains and expands upon the charm and novel gameplay of the original.

    Ascension: Chronicle Of The Godslayer
I've spent about $30 for all the expansions and promos, as the base game (free) just got stale. And no, this isn't freemium. It's based off the physical card game, where their real life expansions there cost extra $$ per set.

    Where's My Water 2

    a 5th one I'll come back to

Yeah... One of the best games on the appstore. An action RPG, somewhat similar to Zelda, but without the puzzles. It has multiple distinct classes, random dungeons, and a skill-based combat as opposed to KRPG's mindless hack and slash.

The permadeth part always put me off. I have the game, however, I haven't played it yet.

There are persistent upgrades that improve your chances of getting through, but then it still all boils down to keeping HP up, being a highly skill-based combat rather than tanking damage and burning through potions.

For mobile, I like games I can play in increments of seconds at a time if I want.

    1. Sword and Poker - 1 and 2, don't really like Adventures
    2. Candy Crush - I like Soda better, but probably put more hours into Saga
    3. Hero Emblems - fell in love with this game that actually managed to make a great rpg-match 3 hybrid; never really liked Puzzle Quest, although I did have a short spurt of being hooked on Marvel PQ
    4. Dice Soccer - excellent simple game that has just the right amount of randomness vs strategy, although there are some difficulty walls that are hard to deal with
    5. Fairway Solitaire
