On the iphone/ipad I believe you can swipe to the left on the app you want to delete and a delete button should appear.

Yeah, you have to do it directly from iTunes, haha.

Getting a 4th gen. iPad as one of my gifts this year (in 2 days). I guess that's an appropriate response here! Finally, a new device.

Sorry for my ignorance, but how do you find this out?? Are you running OSX or Windows? Do you have to go through each and every order?

Use AppZapp's sync program. It'll go through your apps and tell you the number of apps and the current value of it all. I'm in the thousands $ which is a bit shocking lol. But in my defence a lot of the stuff was bought while on sale or while being free so it's not completely accurate...

but doesn't that only calculate what's on your device?

    **edit

... tried it - and it only read 51 out of 327 apps on my device... =o/

    Dunno what I"m doing wrong

They have a pc/Mac sync program on their homepage that will go trough your whole iTunes app library. It did a really good job at picking up my apps as far as I can tell. The AppZapp app itself is a bit hit n miss tho as you said.

Might have to try that although I still don't think it'll
Be accurate because I have deleted some of the .ipa flies from my PC to space and also upgraded twice (once to Windows 7 and now 8) so even the files there are scattered about.

Wish iTunes was more adept for things like this. I have to wait like 5 minutes for to show my purchases and scrolling through is like watching paint dry it's so slow.

Ive just checked my receipts for december and it was a little more than 260 bucks, I dont have the courage to check my entire purchase history as I fear the total number lol, but I usually buy anything I think i like without checking the price and a when there are sales I buy a lot of things I din even play. Such is the curse of a hoarder, nice barrage of christmas sales though.

The crown of the jewel for my gaming time so far are Ravensword 2 and the loads of new tables for Zen Pinball.

  16. Do you mean $260 a year? Not month right? I figure the really avid gamers may average a dollar a day on itunes a year. But after awhile it does slow down cause you end up having almost everything you want except for new releases.

This month, im a serious hoarder lol. I spent a lot on SE sales even though I have these games on at least 2 other platforms. Also the board games and pinball games took good chunks of change.

I was quite shocked when I saw the amount because I really do buy a lot on regular basis. I usually buy a 50 bucks card per week, I dont use my credit card so as not to get to crazy but theres a mall near my house so I just end up making several trips there and on this xmas the were a lot of buy 2 get 3 sales on cards so I end up getting so much credit I just bought like a madman on all the sales.

Wow, that's still a lot at $50 bucks a week. I usually try to limit myself to like $10 a week at most. I don't get to play as often as
I'd like and have a huge backlog of games anyway (some probably aren't worth my time anyway). Guess I try to be a little choosier just due to lack of time.
I do download some freebies but a good majority of those go to the wayside since I really do get the games I really want day one.

Yeah I dont really have that much time to play, when I was a kid I had tons of time for playing but my folks would limit the games I had. Right now I buy every game I want for my consoles or ios as my wife is cool about collecting, but shes not cool to me not paying attention to her or work so actual playing time is somewhat scarce. The backlog is really huge and for every game I buy and finish like FarCry 3 theres loads of others left even unpacked for some beautiful time in my life when I can again play all I want.

Thats the reason I love ios so much, it gave me the possibilty to have quality gaming with me for whenever I get the chance.

Other than what came out this week (Ravensword 2, Ronin, etc), I haven't gotten anything to be considered a "holiday haul". I'm like Exact-Psience in that I don't usually wait for sales and already have what I want, so nothing on sale has really grabbed me...and if I've waited for something to go on sale, it pretty much means I don't want it in the end. :p Probably the reason why I'm so torn on getting The Lords of Midnight.
