Mmm, tough.. Above is by far my favorite of all time on iOS, but i cant limit myself to one so here's a shortened list.. Above, Squareball, Dungeon Raid, Beyond Ynth, Gemmed, heroes of kalevala, mirror's edge, forget-me-not, tactical wartior, dofus battles, frogatto. and to cheat a bit more, anything and everything by these devs... kairosoft games, cave games, rocketcat games, llamasoft games, donut games,

Haha. This thread is somewhat different though. Assuming people don't have 10 favorites Anyways. Add my newest favorite, Crimson Gem Saga, to my old list. Not a spectacle but certainly a gem. Picked that one up on recommendation in another thread, similar to this one.
Crimsongem Saga is great. people cry about the controls. i had no difficulites. i also love Tactical Warrior, a great game that gets no love, a true shame..
- Solomon's Keep/Boneyard (first dual stick RPG shooters that I played and love) - Infinity Blade (love the graphics & gameplay; gameplay is deep enough the more time you spend with this game) - Mushihimesama Bug Panic (pretty much ruined all dual stick shooters that I tried after playing & finishing this game) - Jetpack Joyride (not into endless genre, but somehow I love this game) - Aurum Blade (quickly becoming the latest obsession due to similarity with Diablo)
Best ever? Wow, that's hard! I know that I usually say Plants vs Zombies is the best game I've ever played, but several others are right up there. Sword and Sworcery, Dead Space, Phoenix Wright, and Puzzle Agent are the best games I've ever played.

lol I've seen loads, and loads of threads like that. But even tho I'm I newbie here I've actually been reading the site for months but only just made an account. Love this site!!
I definately agree that there's a ton of threads like this and it is, IMO, way too difficult to say that one game is the best iOS game ever. I also know that we have the "Mass What Should I Get" thread. But do you think it might be worthwhile to have five or six "sticky" threads on the various game genres so that they can be the go-to thread for RPGs, Tower Defense, Casual, etc., games? Just a thought. May sound like overkill. But I think the "Mass" thread is way too big for people to go through. And the search engine doesn't always bring up what your looking for (for example, I think RPG, is too small to search).
