Eliminate is a fun game just as a game, but the whole power cell idea is pure $$$ I don't even think people from ngmoco post on here either. Only reason I could ever find myself agreeing with the power cell system is to "pay for severs". My favorite dev team goes to Rocketcat Games, just because Kepa is the most awesome dude alive, he listens to everything even those boring stories your grandma told you when you were 2. I 100% support them by buying all their games/IAP. Gimka (guy who made Defender Chronicles). Great dude listens to his community and put in an 80 hour work week to come out with an update a week after the one prior, now that's what I call devotion. Sadly he's been MIA. The guys at Mountain Sheep stopped listening to their community as much, dunno what happened there. Gamegou has the coolest dev ever. Were good friends now hehe I talk to him lots. They made Watermelon! Illusion Lab has some sick games so I have to give them some credit in here. Bolt Creative kind of owned everyone else so I'm not complaining . That's about it for now
Com2us -S vs S, Heavy gunner, Inotia 2. I know right now there are in a little trademark controversy but it doesn't erase the fact that their games are awesome. Kyle Poole - forever grateful for bringing BOW to the iphone Joshcm - a dev that is a true gamer too, an example for other devs to follow. Venan Arcade - Space miner is unbelievable. Gameloft -The settlers, GT racing, Castle of magic.
Detective minorpane investigated further but came to a dead end. =( http://foursakenmedia.com/ or maybe it's these guys? http://forsakenmediagroup.com/ Oh, and my vote goes to Venan arcade (space miner), Gameloft, touch foo and mountain sheep and...
http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=44713 There's the thread for their upcoming game N.Y.Zombies. That first site you have might be it, not sure. It's definetly not the second website though.
Lemur Software (Devs of Bobble Surfer and Dude in a Tube). Probably the funnest most responsive devs on the platform.
A lot of my favorite games are from EA... but some of their titles are so shitty (Red Alert***). And then there's Rockstar, even for just one title it's given me so many hours of entertainment.
Rockstar Crescent Moon Games (JoshCM & Amazing Russ) App Tech Studios Bolt Creative Sleek Games Gameloft
I HATE EA. They put no effort into their titles, and then they never update. Sims 3 is boring and unimaginative. It could have been SO much better. Spore is simplistic, glitchy, frustrating, and boring. One of the worst deals on the app store. Red Alert Command and Conquer.....don't even get me started. They could redeem themselves with Mirrors Edge though
+1. God damn freemium..... Edit: Yes....earlier in the thread I said that I thought NGMoco was good.....but when it was announced that they are cancelling Rolando 3, I gave up on them
(1) Kieffer Bros These guys offer the most beautiful, sleek and entertaining games on the iPhone. Not to mention their amazing customer support. Guaranteed you'll receive an email from them within a couple hours. (2) 1337 Design Dark Nebula is a phenomenal game, and the developer is really good at responding. If you haven't tried the game, you MUST! (3) Mountain Sheep Great design, but they are relatively slow with updates. Not to mention their last flop of an update. (4) Sophiestication Beautiful and purposeful apps. (5) Iconfactory Beautiful games. Entertaining as well. (6) Kodu Absolutely amazing customer service. I asked for a specific feature within their app, and they developed within the month. Not to mention their knack for design. Try Movies Now if you have yet to. DISAPPOINTING DEVELOPERS Ngmoco is definitely on the list. They produce an amazing game, and just cut their 3rd Rolando? Not to mention Plus+. Done with that company. Design by a Knife. Worst developer ever. He produces a BEAUTIFUL, functional app (pennies), and then abandons it. Now it's unusable. Really shameful. Bolt Creative. Pocket God? How can you guys like this game? It looks hideous, and is practically useless after 5 minutes. Sure, the cloud game is fun, but ugh, the rest of it is like Flash animation. Click here, and you see an animation, over and over. It's not fun.
My top 3 Illusion Labs - for making superb HD versions Com2Us - makes some of my favorites and underrated games, like Trapped Gameloft - crappy customer service, never fixes a lot of annoying bugs & issues a lot of people report, made crappy HD versions, but still make good games, a real good handful of them.
