Gameloft is ok, but they seem to have problems making games that fit the iphone. They always put on screen controlers in there games. My favourites is Illusion Labs
    Firemint
    Ngmoco

Well shout out to big dogs Activision and Rockstar, for making me re-evaluate the capabilities of the platform. Also new to my list of favs is Gaia studios for bringing sword and poker.

    Right. Behind. You.
    1. Secret Exit (Zen Bound, Stair Dismount)

    2. Illusion Labs (Touchgrind, Labyrinth 2, Sway)

    3. RunSwimFly (Gloop, Orbit, Germs)

    4. Tiger Style (Spider: Secret of Bryce Manor)

    5. Justin Smith (Enviro-Bear 2010)

And don't forget the honorable big-names, Gameloft (NOVA, Driver, Modern Combat), Chillingo (Minigore, Guerilla Bob, SS Football), Rockstar for GTA and Activision for COD Zombies.

Edit: My favorite might be EA when Mirror's Edge comes out!

To me, Gameloft is one of the top developers on the App Store. I also like most games by Popcap.

I enjoy a number of games published by Chillingo also.
