Nice list, pretty much Identical to mine! I would add aphex twin and Keane somewhere in there, but just perfect.... Zepp FTW, can't talk about a band without Zeppelin
Top 5 nonlisted: The Devil Wears Prada Nirvana War of Ages Killswitch Engage August Burns Red Yea I know Im a BIG Metal Head But I;m proud of that
Franz is mainly one person. Really. I don't consider them a band. But, it seems that you can continue to generalize the people on tech forums, as what you mainly expect, based on musical preferences. I would state as such, but I would probably get flamed or banned.
Um how about favorite artists instead of just bands? That way you can have bands like ACDC, but single musicians like T.I.
When I was in high school I saw Switchfoot play in a tiny venue opening for a really crappy band. That was long before they were famous. The also played with Reliant-K that night, who was a local band at that time(they never got that famous, but they were up there). That's not really relevant, I just thought I'd throw it out there.
Not really... they are a band. Also, personally I am extremely into music, probably just as much as gaming and computers. In a sense, you can tell a lot about somebody based on what music they listen to. Kind of off-topic, but are there any other NMH fans here?
Its one guy, and it is electronic music. Anyway, his music is excellent and I definitely recommend it.
My are in no order The Strokes Dream Theater Mars Volta Coheed and Cambria Muse Queens of the Stone Age Stone Temple Pilots Radiohead Nirvana the Beatles Arcade fire Broken Social Scene Interpol and many more.
I go through phases where I get insanely into a genre, listen to everything I can get my hands on, and then move on to something new, with only a few of the artists I from the genre I binged on still getting listens. That said, my top 3 bands/artists of all time are: 1. Neutral Milk Hotel 2. Weezer (I pretend that everything post Pinkerton never happened) 3. Streetlight Manifesto
I am happy to see another NMH fan here! Weezer is great, although I agree that most of their new stuff isn't. I totally forgot SM on my list... easily my favorite Ska band.
