for me it would probably be Eliss. Everyone always glows about this one but i could just never justify buying it. I guess the graphics kinda turned me off.
Sally's Spa is quite good. The lite version gives an excellent taste, and is surprisingly generous in how many stages it lets you try. It's a weird combination of relaxing and frantic. If you like the lite, I don't think you'll be disappointed in the full version, which I picked up for 99c. The game's not particularly hard. I managed to complete every stage the first time through within a few hours. There's some replay value in that you can replay already-won stages to try and max out your score.
Mine would either have to be F.A.S.T. or Terminator Salvation. Lookeds good, sounds good, reviewed good, I just don't know whats stopping me from buying it. I am positive there are plenty others but yeah. For those who are frightened of Star Defence, youd do well to know you won't be disapointed. It will blow your other TD games away, at least it did for me. Witht he exception of Defender Chronicles, but its a totally different type of TD. Question about F.A.S.T. that will make or break me buying it, does it have Offline Mode? or online Only.
Star Defense, Edge, Assassins Creed, F.A.S.T., Quantum Collapse, Beatrider, Resident Evil, NFS, Terminator, RC09....the list could go on and on
For me its Assassin Creed, Real Racing, and NFS. I hover over the buy button, and then the casual gamer in me says no! get something that is pick up and play.
I played Eliss Lite last night, it didn't do anything for me. I played Trism Lite last night, I am convinced it might be the best game on the App Store, yet I still havn't purchased it. I feel like it should be on some sort of sale seeing as how long its been available.
Well, if the game is in a genre I don't like I won't buy it, no matter how popular it is. Or if I suspect that my reflexes can't handle it. I'll often give a Lite a twirl, though and in rare cases I have been convinced by it to buy something that I otherwise wouldn't have. And as I dislike the most popular genres such as TD and time management and suck at racing or similar as well as most platformers... yes, there are a lot of otherwise fine games that I have given a miss to.
Baseball games. I hear good things about Baseball Sluggers and Baseball Superstars yet I despise the game of baseball and won't buy them.
Yes, it has an offline mode with 30 levels. That's how you unlock new jets and such. You really have to invest some time in the offline mode if you want to have the good jets to dominate the online mode.
Hmmm... For me at the moment it's probably Star Defense and Assassins Creed... I've heard good things about Star Defense and NGMOCO is usually good (-ish at least) and one of my friends even said it's good if you like TD games (which I do) but I've been dissapointed by quite a few TD games and at the price im not sure i wanna risk it. I kinda want Assassins Creed cause it is fun (ive tried it on my friends iTouch) but I'm worried as soon as I get it itll drop down to .99 like all the other games lately... If it does I'll be sure to get it though.
I perfectly understand what you mean. I haven't gotten FAST and even if it drops to 99 cents, I would have a hard time convincing myself to get it. I KNOW its great, I WANT to like it, but nothing makes me go for it. Maybe it's because I have like 5 plane games I haven't even started and I guess I should beat them all, or some at least, before I get it. The games that do nothing for me simply because of the price are: Real Racing (well, hard to buy at full price, I already have NFS) Assassins Creed (let's face it, sooner rather than later, we'll get another price drop) Eliss (maybe at 99c, I tried the free version and it wasn't for me) Zenonia (I guess I don't want to invest that much time in it) Star defense (I have something against them not releasing new planets for free) And the ones I might never buy doodle jump (and I want to like it too) Pocket God (Unless it does becomes a game) I must admit, Flight Control was in this list for me. But something clicked within me and I ended up getting it today. I must say, wow. Absolutely fabulous game which I thought wouldn't be for me (I prefer having a story mode) but it really is incredible. Someone mentioned and please reconsider getting it, I think you will love it. Today I showed it to two people who are not gamers and they just couldn't put it down!
