Or, he had a keyboard with all w's and just copied and pasted the other letters. Probably a more likely story
On topic though I kinda wanted an iPad a few months back but I resisted the urge to get one and I don't really want one anymore.
SpeKing of 3g does anyone know how much it costs to tether 3g from an iphone 4 with at&t to the ipad? I know there is an option in settings but never done it. It might be cheaper than the dedicated 3g monthly subscriptions no?
Also its great for itunes movies and rentals on top of netflix, and all the tv apps. There is just so much you can do. Btw does anyone know the size you need to have free if you do an hd rental?
Not really. Laptops sit on a table. Ipads sit on your lap. In fact, ipads make better "laptops" than laptops...
I agree. Its really nice to use when youre sitting laid back on something with your legs folded like an upside down V.
Do you want an Ipad? Nah ive got a computer for that. But.. NO BUT's. BUT!!.. Its portable and you can take it anywhere? Portable my ass, it can't even fit in my dam pocket!
Neither can a big ds really or the upcoming hype train 3ds yet ppl on here still think its for some reason worth buying over playing pc games at home or the wii. Mind boggling!! And the ipad isnt just for games and is easier to carry than a laptop, a mouse, possibly a usb controller, battery cables, etc. And u dont need. To find seats near wall outlets with it unlike netbooks or laptops (most not all have crappy battery lives).
Nothing against the Ipad but in my opinion it's to big and delicate to be portable and too heavy for gaming. I'll stick to my netbook and ipod for now. Not saying it's bad by the way just doesn't suit my needs at all.
Can you play Aralon or Real Racing 2 for extended time periods before battery running out or without having to put it in a charger every hour? Can you play any descent or new pc games or steam games on a netbook outside point and click?
Aralon is close to Morrowind, and you cant play oblivion on many laptops these days unless they cost over $800. Also, can you play those on a netbook? And do you really want to sit down with such long games on a laptop chared in?
And is there cool stuff like flipboard app on the netbook? http://getsatisfaction.com/flipboard/topics/flipboard_for_iphone Or how bout being able to draw and take notes with a stylus like u can with sketchpad pro? Or manipulate images by hand via photoshop express?
We understand you love your iPad. Now you have to understand it is not for everyone. As I have said already perhaps the next gen will have more features for me. (do you get a commission or something?)
Naw, direct tv and slingplayeron the other hand seems to be really big into commissions lately (why do some companies rely on sales people and not word of mouth or good pr?) http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1069360&highlight= http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1069363 But to me the ipad is like a third hand i take everywhere. I only wolent take it to a bar or a bad neigjborhoodnbut it goes everywhere else.
I thought the same thing. But it is so enjoyable playing games on an iPad. I can't exactly describe it, you just have to see for yourself.
