Sorry to bother you guys here. I was about to buy the iOS Yomi, and noticed that it requires iOS 8.1 now. Can anyone confirm this for me? I seem to remember it's compatible with iOS 7 some time ago.
Correct. I think the 1.07 update took the app to iOS 8 only. When downloading from the AppStore I get the option for an older version. You can't play online with it since server access requires the newest update but the tutorial and AI plays just fine.
Did anybody else notice that with this update the game no longer tracks your top Survival runs with each character?
Yeah I noticed that too. Also, the new inscribed cards are a neat idea but the implementation feels really cheap. With the EX characters you can earn them through gameplay but now you get a booster of inscribed cards to keep or destroy for points (like hearthstone). I don't want a stat tracking CCG bolted onto a fighting game that is one of my favorite card games because it's NOT a CCG. It doesn't feel like a 5 star game anymore
It's expensive to be sure! Base game of 10 characters: $9.99 Expansion of another 10 characters: $9.99 EX versions of characters: $0.99 each (x20 for all) So $40 for everything or $20 for base and expansion with you simply grinding vs. AI to unlock EX versions of each character (EX versions get a few cooler cards compared to default).
