Controls great; double jump from the start is great; short levels, silly innocent humor in the intro scene, cute animations and tight platformer physics; hidden things; ads don't pop-up (so far, all I've seen is a banner at the bottom while outside levels). The ads unfortunately will pop up at one point. the game is set to show an ad after every 3 deaths. Also, I saw there's an ad removal IAP, so I'll consider that for later (can't spend money on games for now), depending on how invested I end up into the game. As for controls, well, they've worked without fail. They get the job done and are very responsive which is more than I can say about other games. Platformers need precise controls and you've achieved that, in my opinion. I'll play some more and let you know if any issue arises. Edit: Checked the leaderboards, but scores seem to be upside down. This is a very nice puzzle platformer — good enough to get me over my aversion for one-hit games. The physics are awesome and the level design is deceptively clever. They last about 10 seconds, which is a good breather between attempts. About leaderboards: My score isn't updating on them. I found myself retrying C01L11 several times in an attempt to perfect it and I'd dare saying retrying should count almost as dying in a game; after all, you're getting another chance! Dying is way less likely than making a mistake like dropping your ice cubes on a spiky pit or getting them stuck in lower terrain. Well, at least in C01 levels. Maybe later chapters are way harder? I'll find out eventually. About Midnight, what a cool color scheme. It blends well with the environment and you can see its eyes more clearly, so its blinking is more noticeable! Egg-skating is fun, by the way. I don't know if it's intentional or just a collisions matter, but moving blocks while you're standing on them is super cool, especially when you crush critters with them. Fat Mouse likes this. Hmm so the player is using the "pause menu" to restart the level. I could place a small banner at the bottom in the pause screen it will be non intrusive and the player will see it anytime. The egg skating was not intentional, also sometimes the ice cubes get stuck in a wind pit (when you push 2 of them at once) and you have to jump on them to unstuck them . And, yeah, restarting a level doesn't trigger ads at all, or at least not for me. It's not like I want the game to end up like a billboard, but I found that as a tiny hole in the monetization effort. Small banners in idle areas should not be a bother for the player, I think. Now, I hope I won't end up lynched for such a suggestion.
