In celebration of the new Free LITE version of Yipe! 5 being released to the app store, I've decided to run a little promo code contest for the TouchArcade users! If you've been wondering exactly what type of RPG this Yipe! game is all about, now is the time to find out! The contest: Download the free trial version of Yipe! 5. iTunes Link. You'll be able to fully explore the first cave, finish the first quest and advance your character to level 8. During that time, you'll be able to attack the first 8 different monsters in the game. To win a promo code for the full game, post the name of one of those monsters here. The first 8 people to enter a unique monster name, will be PM'd a promo code. Once a monster name is posted here, that monster is ruled out for anyone else. Basically, 8 different monsters, 8 different winners of a promo code. If I get enough interest, I may add some other aspects to the contest as well so that more than 8 people can win. Having played the Lite I can see that this is a fun little RPG game with lots of humor in it. Thanks for the promo!
Oh man... I was goin' NUTS tryin' to find that eighth monster! The greatest part is that I asked about the Friendly Bunnies AS I WAS STARING AT THE GIANT ZOMBIE BUNNY. Obviously, I had already seen the Zombie Bunny listed earlier in the thread, so my mind just blanked out the fact that the giant one was number eight. After I cleared the cave, I was running around like an idiot, and then the king was warning me about spiders in the cave, except they weren't in *that* cave, and then the gardener was warning me about man-eating plants, but I couldn't find any, and then FINALLY I pulled up the stats hoping to stumble onto some kind of clue, and that's when I found the Kills stat and counted up the monsters and BOOM! I said, "Hang on just a minute, there, Charlie..." By the way, lol at "Donut Master". Edit: Just checked... I ended up with 225 kills! lol
