Spoiler You will find clues in the dark hut and on various trees in the woods to solve the gravestones puzzle.
Some dude earlier in the thread went through the companion app files and there was nothing extra there. Possibly in the main app though. IDK about this "third ending" guys. Something is definitely weird though. Those two websites and the random numbers on the page in the app keep bothering me.
But that's exactly what they want from us. Keep talking until one suddenly finds the clue - or way - to progess with the puzzles.
I think the "big treat" that Simogo mentioned on their blog was just referring to the second ending. I'm not sure that there is anything else to find. I hope I'm wrong though.
I'm not sure about a big treat but did anyone else notice the stone that if you put your thumbs on it shows you a sequence that might be something to do with something
In the "Decoders" thread, Ninjagorilla would show up here and there to tell us if we were missing something. It may be too early for him to appear here but I wouldn't be surprised if he adds his two sense at some point in the future. BTW, if you have not read through that thread, check it out. Maybe something will trigger an idea. Also, randomly, a dude showed up and told us about Vedtorp.se and then vanished. I checked all the e-mail addresses on the screen with the half circle in the companion app. They're all fake. It was worth a try.
I don't think there is much more to actually be played, in the review on gamezebo, it says Simogo told them, after finishing the second ending, "you've seen it all, now you just have to think"
Someone on a gaming website-- I believe it was PocketGamer, at the end of their Year Walk review, iirc-- said that they emailed Simogo after finding the second ending, and asked if there was anything else to see. The reply was: "You've seen everything. Now you just have to think." Makes me wonder if the "seen everything" refers to possible pieces of another puzzle (like the numbers and the runes), rather than just the second ending. EDIT: Welp, got beaten to the punch there. Apologies for the double-posting.
I'm probably grasping at straws here, but we still have the other shapes on the box unaccounted for. It's probably that there's only one combination and only one thing happens, but it's interesting to note. Here's the dates from the diary+order of the shapes on the box. And then there's what Vovin said...:
Runes Tried translating the runes but can't seem to find anything that corresponds to what is being used in the game. One of the companion pages have runes written on the side of the page and it has one of them possibly deciphered runes=d. Also, wondering about the http://almsten.se webpage. It looks like the dots and plus signs around the shape have some significance. Initially thought they might be star constellations (drawing lines between them) but doesn't make sense.
I'd say yes to that if there were a more precise number of the characters on the edges, but there aren't. It doesn't seem to really have an order. What are the odds it's an anagram?
You need to rotate it completely, in the directions and order dictated from the stone with the thumbprints.
Browsing Vedtorp.Se, I read some pretty interesting events that take place in the town of Vedtorp: 2012-04-23 Try toddler football with Vedtorp IF 2012-04-11 homestead farm Exploding Market
I tried that but it doesn't work can someone pm me the order of the sequence because I might of wrote it down wrong
Here's a complete guide to the puzzles. It's relatively spoiler free. Regardless, proceed with caution. http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/iPhone/Year+Walk/feature.asp?c=48649
This. Holy hell tho - I finally got through playing the game. I started at midnight the other day and got to the first real jumpy part. Had to close it and come back to play it during the day. First game in a very long time to do that to me. I love it!
