There were also some symbols on the tomb in the center just before the church. Does anyone else think they might be decipherable as well?

I'm going to be in the minority here but while I usually love games like this, this one didn't do it for me.

There's nothing I didn't like, it just didn't do anything for me if that makes any sense. Maybe just me in the wrong mood for it.

Loved the game, and have been watching this thread closely, as I too feel that discovering both endings can't be the "Big Surprise". But the more I think about it, the more I come to the conclusion that the two endings are all there is. Simogo have either massively underestimated its audience, or added the "Big Surprise" as a hook that draws us all in. I really hope there is more, but I feel that the surprise was ending 2. How disappointing...

I think going the route of trying to find more websites they may have registered is a good one. Obviously I've looked into Whois and things like that. Does anyone have any ideas how to find that out?

    simogo.com
    yearwalk.com
    beatsneakbandit.com

That's exactly what happened for me, I wasn't enjoying it really, but I really didn't like simogo's last game Beat Sneak Bandit, and thought I was maybe letting that influence me. I sort of let myself strike a mood to enjoy this and actually got into it, enjoyed it a lot.

    I just completed the game.

    Outstanding.

At last a truly original story and setting, as I rarely experienced in my gaming career.
    Execution was awesome.
Companion app and its use was pure genious.

It glued me on the iPad screen and had me think about it when I wasn't playing.
    Ending was brilliant.

GOTY (and more) material for sure.
Checking other Simogo games right now.

Congrats to everyone involved in this labor of love.

As for the runes in the area directly in front of the church, it looks like two of the words are deciphered in the November 14 note. Not only are they in some obscure runic alphabet, they're also in Swedish (which makes sense, but makes them harder to decode).

This game has really stuck with me like no other game I've ever played.

I'm an avid lucid dreamer and astral projector (projectionist?) to an extent and have got to the point where I can immediately become lucid once I fall asleep.

Last night after beating the game for the 3rd time I was thinking about the experience and all the theories and thoughts found in this thread and without trying I found myself lucid in the world of the game.

It's hard to explain to someone who hasn't had a lucid dream before but you can control every thing and so I was actually inside the game, standing in snow staring at the cabin. The world had the same look to it, like everything was made out of construction paper. At first I was a little freaked out because I didn't really expect to have a lucid dream but then I thought I'd have some fun with it.
Not going to describe everything I did but I came across the rune stone and touched it and I could feel heat radiating from it. Just then I had the sense that someone or something was watching me. I turned around and there was that freaky doll hanging from a tree. Even though I knew I was dreaming and in control I was extremely weirded out and after a little while I switched dreams lol

Anyways just had to share that because I almost feel as if the game a haunting me and I think everyone needs to experience the game.

There's definately something hidden in those sites, I'll look into it... and to any of you think that more secrets will be added in updates?

Yes they are :). I'm not sure how to use the spoiler tags, but there is a puzzle there, not a translation. It's actually pretty cool :)

Well I won't spoil the message, but
there was a Simpsons episode where all the kids solved a puzzle except Lisa. It's the same trick here.
. Hats off to the developers, this has been a lot of fun.

Should I play this one on iPhone 5 or iPad 3?

Wow. Once you figure it out, it seems obvious. And the deciphered words in the note do actually fit the message, but it's hard to tell before you see it.

I'm still pretty sure the first rune stone is some kind of translation/cipher, though.

I don't have it in front of me, but
along the lines of "My awakening is nigh". The trick is this: the characters are rotated and mirrored along the horizontal axis. Grab a piece of paper, cover the lower half of each line, and there you go.

    Nicely presented

but WAY too short. After I found the l****r I finished the rest of it in about 10 minutes. More an experience than a game IMO.
