For $2.99 The Cave is worth it for the humor and polished characters. On some iDevices there is a slower frame rate, and it can be challenging but I've enjoyed The Cave on my iTouch 5. Edit: The Cave is $2.99, not $0.99... that was a typo.

Yup... this is what i got from the PH appstore as well. Maybe there's a difference between iphone and ipad users? Mine is from the iphone. I didnt feel like putting the app on my ipad air.
Tiny Thief was free anyway, so more like those who got that instead of the pilot episode were the ones that missed out.
