Information Post...Thingy...Yeah Hi everyone. I thought I'd write up a post regarding the list and stuff surrounding it The Lockdown We're probably aware by now that the App Store is in lockdown now (I think). We won't be seeing any changes with apps for about a week now. That doesn't mean that the list is complete though. There could be games on the list which went off sale or had their prices changed before the lockdown started. Also, there are going to be sales which I haven't seen yet. The list as you see it now is a pretty great image of the state of the sales on the App Store, but it still isn't perfect yet. The good thing about the lockdown now is that I don't have to consistently check the Price-Drop Forums, the App Store, and App Zapp in case sales pop up now...that's nice What's Happening When The Lockdown Stops? Well, prices are going to jump back up then. Here is a pretty big problem though which I didn't actually take into consideration when I decided to make this list (I actually only put a thought on this yesterday). I'm going to be on holiday from the 27th-30th for me (basically the 26th-29th for you Americans). In that time, I will most likely not be on the Internet and I won't be able to check the App Store to check if the sales have halted, and even if I did have access to the Internet, I wouldn't be able to put as much time into it as I did making the actual list. It's a problem, and it's out of my hands. In that time, you'll have to be more cautious when you're checking the App Store, and I apologize for that The Response To be honest, when I was creating this thread, I was expecting a small, neat amount of thanks for creating this, but the response from this has well and truly blown me away. You guys have been super supportive of me with this thread and there hasn't been anything negative said about this, even during the times where a lot of sales started whilst I slept. I just really want to say to everyone, the people who have said their thanks in the many kinds of ways, the people who have noted me of sales, the people who have given me suggestions, the people who just helped me out in other ways, the people who have shared this list around, the people who have even just checked this list out - Thank you. From the very bottom of my heart. It's just made this entire thing so much more worthwhile and amazing to create and it's amazing that I can help out so many of you. Just thank you Will I do another list like this sometime in the future? That depends on wether I have the time to do this or not. I could make this thread right now as I'm on summer holidays, so I have the time to make something like this. Something like Thanksgiving or 4th of July sales though, it'll probably interfere with school stuff. Next Xmas is really the most likely possibility at this time So yeah...I hope that gets you more informed with stuff. Thank you again for all of your support for this list and have a happy holiday

I bet this isn't too much of an exaggeration for some of us. I've bought and immediately deleted (for space reasons) dozens and dozens of cheap apps over the years. How many have I actually gone back and played through? Actually, is there an easy way to get a list of apps you've actually paid money for?
Yes, Hoggy deserves a nice vacation for being such a nice chap. Santa too. I too don't think it is worth the time to update the list for sale closures after the appstore reopens, it would be way too much work. Thanks again Hoggy. You animal!
battery smartphones I like it and will most likely use it from time to time. It would be nice to take a phone call on my Mac without video.

Yeah lol. I'm in the north-east (a Geordie almost lol) and it's meant to get worse over the next few days. Luckily I don't have to be outside too much as everything is bought and wrapped.
It seems like there should be an easy way to track all your true purchases on the AppStore but I haven't found it. I have made customized lists in my Appsfire app. I have a list of all purchases, apps I enjoyed and would like to come back to, apps to try later and so on. Also, I back up all purchases in iTunes on PC.
