I just wish Apple would relent on memory cards, JUST FOR MEDIA. So I actually could use one of my 3 movie rental vouchers. I can't afford the space I need to rent a free movie!
Can't I insert a memory card in the SIM card slot? Seriously I'm gonna have to remove games I play regularly to accommodate new releases!
I used to be a 16gb kind of guy, but I've realised in this day, minimum buy when I upgrade my device is pretty much the top memory offering that they have (64gb). No less. Sooner or later you'll hit the limit, particularly with new games like this being converted. I remember when 300mb used to be seriously frowned at. Obviously the higher storage devices cost more, but there's no way I'd go a 16gb again. I feel for ya with the 16.
The sad thing is my newest device, an iPad Mini, has the same amount of space as this indestructible device I got a looong time ago-
Ouch. The cracked screen kills me! I dropped a can opener on my iPad a few years ago and the apple store girl was aces and swapped it out. With all that apple's done for me, I bought into the AppleCare for my current phone and iPad.
So now you have revealed your true colors..All this talk about aliens vs. humans and your views about is now officially unreliable..
I bought a WiDrive for about $30, it's 32gb and if I remember correctly, it works for iTunes downloads... Though rentals, maybe not =\. Sorry, stupid suggestion.
I literally debated whether to buy it last night, but I held off cause I already own it on Mac and I don't have much time to play... This must be a clear sign though, so I guess I'll double dip. On the topic of storage, I decided to compromise with a 32gb iPhone 5 last year and I'm never going back to 16... If anything next one will be 64 lol.
Lol, it sounds as if Ebenezer Scrooge, Silas Marner, Scrooge McDuck, Pantalone and Shylock have a talk in this thread.
Do you realize you just pawn'd (and screwed, a bit) yourself? exit: damn, Allister has beaten me already.
Just did that and I know what you mean... Also this thread (his thread) got me thinking... http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=193508 Im not sure how he's going to enjoy XCOM if ever it dropped to a price he'll settle with. XCom's a great game, but the game can get too complex and/or difficult that he will end up deleting it and drop bombs at it (again). To be honest im not even sure how he enjoyed Aliens Vs Humans for that reason.
Way to jump to the wrong conclusion.. 1: someone asked people's advice about buying it. Iirc he said he didn't have a ipad NOW but is getting one for xmas? Which lead me to say wait!! 2: this is not about me.. If I wanted this game I would have bought it on launch day at full price, but as I already have this game on my xbox 360, there is little point buying it twice. Next time dont jump to conclusions so quickly.
