Just tried, it says 99 cents but when you try to buy it'll charge you regular amount. And I'll ask again since it was asked a couple of times but nobody responded. Is there any reason to have both x com games on the iOS device? Is there any point of playing the first game now that this one is out? Should we treat enemy within as a supplement or treat it as the "gold edition"?
My card was charged only 99c. And the only reason for wanting EU as well on the same device might be to just be able to play the vanilla EU. I'm not sure if you can disable EW content.
With console and PC you in fact were able to disable all add ons to play vanilla EU. But would like to know if anyone can confirm this for the iOS version.
Nope, shows 12.99 in Google Play. However, it is incompatible with my previous S3, S4, S5, Note 2, Note 3, and now Note 4. So, I will be absolutely getting this since it WILL work on my iPad mini retina and my 6 Plus, go figure stupid fragmented Android.
The Google Play description says "now with 50% more new content." [This seems to imply it overlaps with the Enemy Unknown] Also pulled from Google Play just now.
Looks like they fixed that price rather quickly. Well I'm still waiting here... still. waiting. And I agree. I like that games are WAY more likely to work on iOS. There are some divisions but it's basically like if your computer can handle that game or not. I bet if I owned an Android I'd be freakin out if games would run. But I guess they made the timed refund policy because of that issue.
Despite the game being pulled (even if certain to return quickly) leave it to Touch Arcade to tease us with banner advertisements for Xcom: Enemy Within...
Seems to be pulled out of google play good thing i was able to download it. Smooth as butter on my z3 compact, ill download it on my ipad air later.
I clicked on the link and the game shows in the Spanish app store. I'll buy through iTunes, but at first sight there seems to be no problem at all with availability in the Spanish app store. EDIT: it's perfectly available in the Spanish app store. I searched for it and it appeared without problem. Just bought and downloading now. 2h left...
I never played any XCOM games or really any tactical strategy battle game before. Should I get this or the older XCOM? Do I need to play the old one first?thanks
Simply put-does this "expansion" include all of the missions and content from the core game? I don't need to be able to deactivate new gameplay elements-I need to know A)does it include all of the original content from Enemy Unknown; B)If not, can it act as an expansion, adding the new elements, to the original if both arw installed? I don't have room for both.
I suspect 2K is just over reacting to the Google Play price error and pulling everywhere until they confirm arrangements, maybe not something they want to advertise.
