Definitely looks like a bug. As Bytebrain said, it also happened to me because of thr game connecting to iCloud but you guys are saying, it might be a bug corrupting save games which is bad. For now I think having 2 or even 3 saves would be safe just in case
No it doesn't. Shadow only appear on my iPad Air. Texture resolution is actually being compressed compared what I see on iPad Air. I hope 2K will fix it soon since I definitely want the best experience I could have during the time I'm playing.
From what I understand from what you said, the game actually looks better on the iPad Air? And I thought the 6 and 6 plus had better A8 processors. I'm definitely going to try installing it on my daughter's Air when I get home just to see the difference and those shadows hehe
I even have shadows on the iPad 3, so it does seem odd that they are not displaying on the iPhone 6 and 6 plus.

When did you guys get the Officer Training "Iron Will"? It's expensive at 200, but since the additional Will bonuses are not retroactive, I feel the earlier you get this the better. That said, this also means your 2nd or even 3rd team will always be better than your current veteran team - just because they get the full Will bonuses from this perk as they gain it every promotion.

What did u guys first construct? I can't decide what's best to construct with the limited scientist And engineers.. On paper the best would be a uplink satellite
Yep - focus on satellites and uplinks and then tech upgrades with the extra money, because you'll need them to keep countries from leaving when they are at max panic at the end of the month (during the Council Evaluation). During the first months you should ideally be able to launch 2-3 satellites, as these countries are also your main source of monthly income (not counting the bonuses you receive like additional engineers and scientists and continent bonuses when you have satellites on all a continent's countries).
Spoiler Just finished the base defense mission. Man that was HARD but was also the best mission ever! Well aside from the temple ship at the end Power generator then satellite uplinks. Satellites are VERY important in this game. Without them, surviving the first few months would be really hard as countries will leave XCOM and with them, the money you'll need to build stuff
Edmilan, I see your invite in GC but it doesn't show up in the app itself. Do I need to have played the campaign to a point to unlock multiplayer? I've been putting off diving into the game because it is such a commitment, waiting till I have more consistent free time and not just patches of half an hour here and there.
You can start a multiplayer game anytime even from the get go. The invite was not a multiplayer game but actually an achievement challenge lol. I haven't started multiplayer yet as I plan to finish the campaign first
